Abstract/Summary:
This study was designed to observe the effects of supplementing the traditional mathematics instruction occurring in middle school classrooms with the usage of Internet-based math lessons and practice on www.IXL.com. The purpose was to help educators identify specific tools that would help raise student self-efficacy and achievement. Standardized testing scores, usage reports from www.IXL.com, and demographic data were used to compare the control and experimental cohorts.
