The purpose of this project was to provide clinicians, teachers, and parents a resource handbook for promoting social skills in children with auditory processing and related disorders. These materials are organized by age into Preschool, Early Elementary, Later Elementary/Early Middle School and Later Middle School/High School strategies and materials. These materials are provided to assist in the remediation of socially related difficulties associated with central auditory processing disorders, minimal hearing loss and related disorders. Materials and strategies discussed in this handbook were drawn from the related areas of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Asperger's syndrome and autism. This handbook may be distributed via publication, on-line, or directly from the author at a later date.
