| This study compares the perceptions and opinions of parents, teachers, and students in a rural community of middle Tennessee, with their worldview as determined by the PEERS (Politics, Education, Economics, Religion, and Social issues) test supplied by the Nehemiah Institute website (http://www.nehemiahinstitute.com). Teacher perceptions of what the law allows public schools to teach concerning evolution, creation, and intelligent design differed according to their worldview. Also, the study showed 98% of the participants from all three groups, parents, teachers, and students were of the opinion that creation should be taught in public schools. |
