Abstract/Summary:
We will define a new concept of stability called M(,0)-stability and use this to describe a general type of invariant set and its stability behavior. The first results give conditions that imply M(,0)-stability. We then define M(,0)-boundedness and M(,0)-relative stability and give results for these properties.;Furthermore, we introduce mixed monotone operators in a Banach space and define coupled quasifixed points for such operators. By using an iterative technique, we show the existence of quasifixed points.
