Abstract/Summary:
Model polyolefin compounds containing poly(ethylethylene) (PEE), poly(ethylenepropylene) (PEP), poly(ethylene) (PE), and poly(vinylcyclohexane) (PVCH) derivatives were synthesized using anionic polymerization followed by catalytic hydrogenation. The heterogeneous catalytic hydrogenation process was investigated utilizing a new series of reactors that were designed and developed with special considerations.
