Abstract/Summary:
The surface valence electronic structure of clean Ta(110), H/Ta(110), and alkalis/Ta(110) is characterized using the technique Angle-Resolved Photoemission. The momentum and energy resolution offered by this technique are essential to measure surface electronic structure, which determines chemical and dynamical properties of the surface.
