A rectangular dielectric Cerenkov Maser amplifier, an input/output hybrid mode coupler, and three different Free-Electron Laser amplifiers are analyzed with the objective of optimizing their performance in the millimeter wavelength range. A dispersion relation for the charged particle and hybrid mode interaction of a dielectric Cerenkov maser in a rectangular geometry is derived.
