Abstract/Summary:
This project considers Paul's character traits pre- and post-conversion and how he ultimately defined his identity in Christ. Paul's outlook affected his approach to life and writing and should be accounted for/applied to the interpretation of his behaviors and New Testament writings. As such, when an individual recognizes his/her own character traits, he/she can account for strengths/weaknesses by ultimately defining himself/herself in Christ. The project will consider and be compared with results from a survey of Christians addressing their character profiles, especially as they relate to pre- and post-identity in Christ; and their interpretation of Pauline Principles with Scriptural Citation. Subsequently, principles will be identified from the research and confirmed by Paul's account in Scripture that can shape our Character in Christ.
