Discipleship through immersion

The United States of America is home to approximately 179 million people who are not yet followers of Jesus Christ. This population is likely to grow in the foreseeable future. Yet, despite Jesus' command in the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations, American evangelical Christians put a low priority on evangelism. This project suggests that if American evangelical Christians are discipled while being immersed in some form of missional activity that reflects the example of Jesus during his earthly ministry then they will gain a high priority for evangelism.
