Abstract/Summary:
Sexual crimes against children are considered by society to be heinous. The purpose of this study focused on the difference between incest offenders and non-incest offenders who have been sexually abused or not examining the scales "F", "Fb", and "L" on the MMPI-2. It was hypothesized that non-incest offenders would have significantly higher scores as compared to the incest offenders. A 2x2 MANOVA was performed to analyze the data: it revealed no significant differences. The reasons for and implications of these results are discussed.
