With the rapid development of electronic commerce,more and more people prefer shopping online.Online stores and online products icrease sales a lot,online shopping becomes consumption habit.Most of the enterprises choose to sell products in e-commerce platform.Based on the popularity of online stores’ products and survival of online stores to realize the effective resource distribution showing the popular products and recommend stores.Therefore,how to evaluate the popularity of online products and the management ability of the online stores is an improtent issue for customers,vendor,and e-commerce platformIn the e-commerce platform,we usually use the sales quanlity of products,the price of the products,the favorable rate etc.to rank the online stores and products.The single indictors are lack of scientificity and trigger the behavior of opportunism,which lead to lose the sence of significant.The h-index of infometrics have the properties of comprehensive assessment.H-index has the scale effect with the single evaluation indices that is difficult to manipulate the results.So this paper explores a new index for e-commerce domain to slove the bogus transaction and scientific evaluate the management ability of the online stores.The study included three researches and conclutions:First,based on h index Schubert-Glanzel model,we created two new models to evaluate the online products and online stores and discusses the variation of the model.This study shows that the classic h index is more stable,excellent,and compresensive than previuous evaluation indices.Secondly,we use LMA(Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm)to optimize the parameters of new models.We found that the value of parametersin the scientifity is unsuited.This research simulated optimal value of the parameters and discussed the h index’s theroretical hypothesis and algorithm features in e-commerce domain.Thirldly,it difines the popularity index of online product(hp)and its economic meaning.The hp solved the problem of the top rank of the products caused by the bogus transation.It proves that hp index has robustness to evaluate the popularity of the online products and finds the power relationship of the h index and sales of products h=Cb.There is a law of diminishing marginal utility existed in the relationship of total sales volume and the h index.When h reaches a certain value,it increases slowly and requires high sales volume,so h index can slove the problem of bogus transation in the online market.Finally,for the survival rate of the online stores,this study chose three indices to measure them,sale index,overall indicator,and h index.The research shows that the predict result of h index is closest to the real result.The h index has the characteristic of conciseness,stable,comparing the sale index and overall index.Next,this paper studied the characteristics of online stores with different h index.If the store has a high h index;it means that it is running good and stable and very possible to still have a high h index in the future.If the store has a low h index,it means that the store will be hard to survival,and it runs a short time and just sale few kinds of products.It is very likely to be out of the market in half to one year.We provide polices to improve the development of the online stores based on their operational characteristics.For the stores with low h index,we should improve the infrastructure construction and the staff training.These stores should highlight its festures and adopt diverse marketing modes.Relavant organizations should guide these stores to run business and give them some supports For the stores with high h index,we should increase their credibility,strengthen international cooperation,and play an exemplary role in running a good business.
