Molecular and ionic probes are widely used in research,production and life.Compared with traditional instrument detection,molecular and ionic probes have the advantages of low cost,rapid response,and real-time in-situ monitoring.Therefore,the design and synthesis of molecular and ionoic probes is extremely critical.In this dissertation,two new chiral ligands,dibenzyl(2R,3R)-2,3-bis(4-pyridineformyloxy)succinate [(R,R)-L] and dibenzyl(2S,3S)-2,3-bis(4-pyridineformyloxy)succinate [(S,S)-L],were designed and synthesized,and were used to self-assemblize with metal ions to produce 14 novel chiral coordination polymers.X-ray single crystal diffraction showed that 12 of them have 1D single-handed helical structures.It is found that the types of anions have direct influences on the coordination numbers of the metals and the structures of the coordination polymers.The probe functions of one of the novel chiral helical coordination polymer,[Cu((R,R)-L)(THF)Br2]n·n CH3CN(THF = tetrahydrofuran),was studied in depth.It was found that the above complex can be used as a probe to detect the configurations and concentrations of L-/D-cysteine in aqueous solutions by means of circular dichroism spectroscopy and UV spectroscopy.This is the first helical complex that can be used as a cysteine chiral probe.In addition,two new tetraphenylethylene derivatives,1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-(3-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)phenyl ethylene tetraiodide(TMIPE)and 1,1,2,2-tetrakis[4-(3-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl)phenyl ethylene tetraiodide(TMBIPE),were designed,synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR and high resolution mass spectrometry.The aggregation-induced fluorescence behavior of these two new compounds in H2O-THF system was studied.It was found that TMBIPE can be used as a mercury ion and organomercury fluorescent probe in H2O-THF system,which provides a new method for detecting mercury ions.
