Research On The Relevance Of Region And Architecture

After decades of rapid development and changes,contemporary cities present a different context from traditional cities.The discretization of the urban pattern breaks the inner integrity of a single structure,and the development of multi-centers makes different urban textures coexist in heterogeneity;the dynamic of urban operation weakens the status of buildings as the material subject of cities.Transformed into a part of the urban mobility system;the collage of urban architecture reflects the desire for visual expression of architecture in the consumer society.Separate scenery architecture further dispels the value of the city as a continuous public space.The existing concept of ontological architecture is difficult to meet the needs of contemporary cities in terms of multiple,open and interactive attributes.The transformation of architectural theory from ontological autonomy to regional correlation has become an inevitable trend.This paper is a systematic review and construction of urban architecture theory with regional and architectural relevance.First of all,based on the comparison of various concepts of "region" in the existing knowledge system,the "region" in this paper is defined as a macro-urban structure associated with a specific design object in spatial form,which has the characteristics of scale transformation,structure abstraction and boundary dynamics.The study of regional relevance starts from the excavation of elements,constraints and demands in the upper structure,establishes the position of the design object in the whole,and guides the interaction between the internal autonomy system of the building and the external social reality.Then,from the three contemporary relevance theories of structuralism,self-organization and intertextuality,this paper analyzes the theoretical driving force behind the regional turn of contemporary architecture.On this basis,the association operation mechanism between region and architecture is abstracted as a methodology prototype,and its design process is summarized into three basic stages: "magnification of vision","structure priority" and "internal and external coordination",so as to promote the transformation of city from "discrete individual" to "relevance whole".Under the premise of conceptual definition and theoretical analysis,this article traces the historical context of regional concepts,critically interprets the evolution of regional concepts presented in the three aspects of settlement,context and region,and reveals the development of consciousness from intuition to consciousness process.Summarize the regional concepts in history into three parallel lines of naturalism pedigree embodying simple environmental consciousness,historicism pedigree embodying nostalgic historical picture and regionalism pedigree of critical place practice,and discuss the relationship between the above-mentioned pedigree and contemporary regional association pedigree Connections and differences are used as theoretical references for contemporary regional connections.The core chapter of this article takes regional association as the target,and uses architectural morphology and urban morphology related analysis methods as tools.The mechanism proposes three types of association states for regions and buildings,nine association modes and more than twenty association strategy groups,and several association methods that continue to be subdivided under this framework.First,establish a systematic correlation state based on structuralist theory.Taking "pre-existing structure" as the object,it emphasizes the continuation and construction of architecture on urban structure.By proposing the related modes of "texture synergy","giant intervention" and "network evolution",the system connection of the deep structural level of the city is explored from the two dimensions of top-up and bottom-up.The integration of preset structures between regions is the goal;second,the establishment of a spontaneous association state based on self-organization theory,with "generative structure" as the object,emphasizing the generation of regional association systems from internal logic.By proposing the association mode of "cluster shaping","fractal connection" and "surface growth",the connection logic between the parts is established,so that the system displays the overall coordination accordingly,and spontaneously forms open clusters,hierarchical fractal or surface connections Finally,a dialogue-based correlation state based on the theory of intertextuality is established,and the relationship between "individual and structure" is taken as the research object,emphasizing the interaction between internality and externality.By proposing the related modes of "morphological strain","spatial cohesion" and "functional expansion",they respectively receive external pressure from the morphological level into the power of deformation,actively connect or repair the elements of the regional space from the spatial level,and pass the internal from the functional level.The reconstruction of functional programs accommodates urban functions,stimulates spatial events,and responds to regional constraints.Through the construction of several related modes and strategies above,a regional building related method suitable for different backgrounds is formed.Through the intervention of externality,the internal system of architectural autonomy is broken,and the multi-level connection with the region is established.Combining with practice the theoretical pedigree of "region-building" interaction.
