| Objective:This study based on the detailed information of literature provided by Web of Science(WOS)database the development trend of acupuncture clinical research is analyzed from the perspective of bibliometrics and literature visualization.Based on the classification research and annual changes of the number of published literature,research classification,research hotspot,research field and other indicators,the research content and Research Hotspot Development trend of acupuncture clinical research are analyzed.To explore the academic status and orientation of acupuncture clinical research at home and abroad,and to provide reference for acupuncture clinical innovation and development.Method:Through CiteSpace and Vosviewer software,the output scale,academic influence,international cooperation network of acupuncture research and the direction and characteristics of international acupuncture research are visualized.In addition,the basic database of this study was established by Microsoft Office Excel,and the research methods and interventions in the literature were further summarized and analyzed in the form of counting data and descriptive statistics.1.Determine the scope of relevant literature acquisition and retrieval strategy1.1 database:the citation index in the web of Science(WOS)database is SCIExpanded1.2 search time:January 1,1990 to December 31,20191.3 the retrieval strategy is subject=(acupunture*)or(electronic acupunture*)or(acupoint*)or(Moxibution*),the literature type is set to article and review,the retrieval time span is 1990-2019,and the index is set to SCI-Expanded2.Inclusion and exclusion criteria of literature2.1 Inclusion criteria(1)Publication period:from January 1,1990 to December 31,2019(2)English Limited documents(3)Documents conforming to the scope of subject words(4)At the same time,the documents meeting the above conditions were included in this study2.2 exclusion criteria(1)Animal and geographical distribution of literature publishedAccording to the search scope and search strategy,17702 pieces of literature were obtained according to the search method,and 10298 pieces of clinical SCI of acupuncture and moxibustion were finally selected and included in the analysis and research through the inclusion exclusion criteria of literature.From the included literature,it shows that:1.1 the number of clinical SCI publications of acupuncture and moxibustion has been increasing steadily year by year,especially since 2000,reaching the peak in 2019,with 813 articles published in one year.1.2 the main countries and regions of acupuncture clinical research are the United States(2679),China(2555),the United Kingdom(923),South Korea(879)and Germany(721).1.3 the United States and China have obvious advantages in the number of published documents,with the total number of published documents of 2679 and 2555 respectively,accounting for 26%and 25%of the total literature respectively.1.4 Beijing,Shanghai and Guangzhou are the main producing areas of acupuncture clinical research in mainland China.2.Distribution of literature source journals and academic influence2.1 the literature included in this study comes from 107 kinds of literature journals,among which the supplement and alternative medicine journals have the largest number of acupuncture clinical research literature,including "event based comprehensive and alternative medicine","Journal of alternative and comprehensive medicine" There are 1772 articles published in four journals,including medical journal,comprehensive therapies in medicine and BMC comprehensive and alternative medicine,accounting for 17.2%of the total.2.2 from the perspective of journal influence,the top ten journal influence factors(if)of the number of clinical acupuncture research SCI published are all low,and the influence factors(if)are mainly distributed in the range of 1-3 points,with an average of 1.962.2.3 acupuncture research published in the four major medical journals is relatively concentrated in acupuncture clinical research in content,but the number of literature published is relatively small,the total number of papers published in the past 30 years is 322,accounting for 3.13%of the total included literature.3.Main research hotspots and trends of literature3.1 according to the classification of literature and information research direction,the number of published reference acupuncture clinical research categories are successively complementary and alternative medicine,with a total of 3501 published literatures;neuroscience,with a total of 3226 published literatures;internal medicine,with a total of 2905 published literatures,etc.3.2 key words analysis shows that the hot spot direction of acupuncture clinical research shows a periodical change with time as the axis.Acupuncture analgesia,as a pioneer field of international research on acupuncture clinical application,has been the hot spot and direction of acupuncture clinical research,with a total of 4492 published literatures.Its main application field is chronic pain,and the related diseases focus on the control of pain in nervous system and motor system.In addition,according to the time dynamic evolution trend of key words,the research on the diseases related to acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of cancer(published 216 articles)and acupuncture and moxibustion treatment in the field of assisted reproduction(published 135 articles)are gradually emerging as the hot spot and direction of acupuncture and moxibustion clinical research in recent years.Conclusion:1.From 1990 to 2019,the number of SCI papers published in acupuncture clinical research continued to increase,especially in the past decade,with 6583 papers published,accounting for 64%of the total,which is closely related to the rapid growth of the number of SCI papers published in acupuncture clinical research in China.2.Researchers and research teams of acupuncture clinical research have formed an international research cooperation network with the United States and China as the research core,and gradually formed an international cooperation research network and trend.3.Acupuncture analgesia is the hot spot and direction of global continuous research,and the disease spectrum of acupuncture clinical research is expanding;RCT is widely used in acupuncture clinical research.4.There are few papers with high influence and high quality in clinical acupuncture research.In the future,we should pay more attention to the quality of papers while increasing the number of SCI. |
