A Study Of Family Fiction In Chinese Contemporary Literature

The family novel is an important category of contemporary literary novels.Compared with other types,it has a unique aesthetic value and both of its quantity and quality show different scenes.Through this window,it can study the family novel's origin,theme,narrative and aesthetic,and examine how contemporary literature returns to its essence.This thesis focuses on family novels in contemporary literature,based on reading the family novels written by Zhao Shuli,Liang Bin,Ouyang Shan,Liu Qing,Zhu Xiaoping,Mo Yan,Huo Da,Su Tong,Chen Zhongshi,Wang Anyi,Li Rui,Zhang Wei,Zhou Daxin,Pang Rui Yin,Li Peifu,Fan Jianping,Alai,Wang Meng,Zhang Wei,Sang Yi,Liu Zhenyun,Gao Jianqun and Yu Hua.It tries to analyze the intrinsic relationship between family culture and family novels,sort out family novels' source,genre,stages and theme presentation.The paper includes nine chapters,topics focused on two aspects.One to five chapter focuses on family novel “what to write”,Six to nine chapter mainly discussed family novel “how to write”.From the angle of literary ontology,this thesis probes family novels' narrative perspective,narrative mode,the pros and cons of narrative,and culturology,anthropology and sociology which family novels contain.It finds the pattern and trend of family novels,and excavates the factors hidden in the text,such as literature,culture,ideology,politics and economy.It discusses how history writing of family novels can most approach the historical truth and avoid such problems as similarity,conceptualization,surface and code in character shaping.And then it interprets the aesthetic value of family novels.
