Philosophical Interpretation Of Socialist Core Values

The Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the CPC proposed to build a Socialist Core Value System.The 18th National Congress of the CPC held in November 2012 proposed promoting prosperity,democracy,civility,and harmony,upholding freedom,equality,justice and the rule of law,advocating patriotism,dedication,integrity,and friendship,to cultivate and apply Core Socialist Values.The 19th National Congress of the CPC pointed out that "Core Socialist Values are the concentrated embodiment of the spirit of contemporary China,condensing the common value pursuit of all the people." Core Socialist Values are a major strategic thought and theoretical proposition put forward by our Party in the face of the new situation and new requirements,and provide spiritual guidance for our country to build a strong socialist modernization country in an all-round way and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Marxist Philosophy is concerned with the truth of all human beings,the world outlook of the proletariat and the theory of socialism.In a socialist country like our country,to build Core Socialist Values,we must grasp it from the perspective of world outlook and take Marxist philosophy as the theoretical basis to guide practice.Marxist Philosophy is not only the essence of the spirit of the times,but also the "eye" that we see through the source of society.Therefore,with the help of Marxist Philosophy as a theoretical weapon,this paper interprets the theoretical proposition of Core Socialist Values from the perspective of historical materialism.Firstly,the article combs the evolution process of Core Socialist Values,including the historical accumulation and development process of Core Socialist Values,and analyses the connotation and the significance of the times of Core Socialist Values.Then,from the four aspects of social production mode theory,social ideology theory,people's historical subject theory and human emancipation and comprehensive development theory,this paper expounds the historical materialism foundation of the Core Socialism Values,and further clarifies that the construction of Core Socialist Values is a persistence and development of the historical materialism.Firstly,from the perspective of social history,the production relations based on public ownership determine the "socialist attribute" of Core Socialist Values.As the main body and soul of socialist ideology,Core Socialist Values are naturally determined by the mode of production of socialist society and are the superstructure of ideas based on our socialist public ownership economy.At the same time,the Core Socialist Values have a positive reaction to the economic and political structure,providing spiritual power and value guidance for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Secondly,from the perspective of social ideology theory,social existence determines social consciousness,and social consciousness has a negative effect on social existence,which is manifested in various social functions.Socialist core values are the inherent essence and spiritual core of socialist ideology.They also have the function of socialist ideology.They are embodied in guiding the direction of socialist development,safeguarding the legitimate status of the Communist Party of China,and cohesion of social ideological consensus.They are scientific socialist ideology.Thirdly,the materialist view of history holds that the masses are the creators of history and the decisive force for realizing social change.It can be concluded that the masses are also"creators" and "practitioners" of Core Socialist Values.Therefore,we should respect the historic status of the people.Only when the Socialist Core Values are recognized and practiced by the broad masses of the people and become a scientific belief,can the Core Socialist Values truly become the common spiritual home of the Chinese nation and the Chinese spirit that is independent of the world's national forest.Finally,on one hand,the Core Socialist Values are not only consistent with the actual value ideals of China at the present stage,but also consistent with the objective laws of human historical development,and are of great significance to the development of human society.The goal of integration and Core Socialist Values all provide value norms for it.On the other hand,Core Socialist Values and human emancipation value ideals have inherent consistency,both for the realization of"everyone's free and comprehensive development" and the great ideal of communism,reflecting a profound understanding of the value of people and people.Thus we can see that Core Socialist Values are concrete and phased goals to achieve the ultimate value goal of mankind.Studying Core Socialist Values from the perspective of Historical Materialism is not only conducive to enhancing the explanatory and defensive power of Core Socialist Values,making Core Socialist Values widely promoted and disseminated,but also systematically expounds the development and contribution of Core Socialist Values to historical materialism.
