The so-called cultural colonization,in a word, refers to the process of enslavement, brainwashing and invasion of the people in the occupied areas by the invaders. The result was a desire to create a new culture that suited the aggressor's intentions,a "colonial culture".Since modern times, with the overseas expansion of Japan,Shinto,as a traditional religion of Japan, has gradually spread abroad. An important means and way of broadcasting is that Japan forcibly purchased land to build shrines in the occupied areas,so that a large number of overseas shrines came into being. These overseas shrines are the material evidence left by the Japanese invaders in the process of cultural colonization, and also the symbol of "colonial culture".After the end of the Russo-Japanese War,Japan took over Guandong Prefecture and established the first overseas shrine--Andong Shrine in Northeast China in 1905.Starting from this,Japan began an aggressive history of building shrines in northeast China. There is no doubt that the Japanese colonists' creation of shrines in northeast China is a kind of cultural aggression synchronized with military aggression and economic plunder, which runs through the whole process of Japanese aggression against China and becomes the props of "spiritual output" of Japanese invaders. In this paper, from the macro and micro to the Japanese colonial rule in northeast China Shinto activities,a comprehensive investigation and focus on the discussion. At the macro level, while using the analysis of historical materials to conduct a basic research on the formation and development of Shinto and Shinto Shines in Japan,as well as the roles played in different periods, the relevant data and specific situations of overseas Shinto Shines and Shinto Shines built by Japan in Northeast China in the domestic and foreign preliminary studies are summarized and textured. In addition, the development trend of Japanese Shinto Shrine in different stages during the period of Japanese colonial rule in Tohoku is presented intuitively by means of cross-research.At the micro level,on the premise of the specific historical period of Japan's colonial rule in northeast China, this paper starts with the "Manchurian spreading religion" of the Japanese Army in Guanto, and discusses the actual conditions of five types of shrines, including "Army Shrine","Pilot Shrine","Manchurian Shrine","Exploration Shrine" and "National Shrine".On this basis, this paper evaluates the characteristics and influence of the Shinto Shrine establishment activities during the period of Japanese colonial rule in Tohoku.Through the study, this paper believes that the creation of a large number of overseas shrines in Japan is the overseas practice of the national religion of Japan--national Shinto. The aggressiveness of overseas shrines is more subtle than the direct military and political rule exercised by Japan. This became the main feature of the Japanese cultural colonization process.Overseas shrines can be a place for soldiers' homesickness,a regulator of social control and stability, and a coagulant of national cohesion. As the spokesperson of the state Shinto, the Shinto has essentially broken away from the social cultural place where religious thoughts spread, and turned into a forced cage of politicized thoughts in a special space. In addition, overseas shrines became symbols of "colonial culture".The Shinto shrine statues that Japan painstakingly built in northeast China for decades were broken to pieces and turned into nothing during the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.
