Geographical Linguistics Of Xianghua Dialect In The West Of Hunan Province

Xianghua dialect mainly distributed in Yuanling,Guzhang,Luxi,Chenxi,Xupu five counties,in the western Hunan Province It is a more closed dialect.In this paper,we used the method of geography linguistics to investigate the pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar of the Xianghua dialect.The Xianghua dialect map is drawn.On this basis,the linguistic features of the dialects are studied,their geographical distribution and historical development are explored.There are six chapters in this paper.The first chapter summarizes the geography and history of the west of Hunan Province,introduces the general situation and the background and characteristics of Xianghua dialect.Summarizes the research results of the previous rural literature,and explains the research methods and significance of this paper.The second chapter of the study of geographical linguistics is divided into three sections.The first section is the tonal geography linguistics research,analysis the division of ancient Ping tone,the difference values between the Shang tone and the evolution of the ancient Ru tone.The second part of the consonant geography linguistics research,discussed some of the characteristics of the initials of Xianghua dialect and their geographical distribution.Including:the ancient voiced initials of the evolution and distribution,ancient Fei(?)words read as heavy lip phenomenon,the ancient Ni Lai(??)words's differentiation and merger,group of ancient Zhi(?)words read as the ancient Duan(?)group,the division of the Jing Zhuang Zhang(???)group,the types of the sound of ancient Yi(?)words.The third part of the finalist geography linguistics research,selected several vowel characteristics of the study.Including:the ancient Zhi Zhi Zhi(???)three group words distinguish and mix,the"transfer value of rhyme"phenomenon of geographical distribution and research,the acquisition of the ancient Xian Shan Shen Zhen(?????),the current pronunciation of ancient Tong(?)words.In the third chapter,the study of geographical linguistics of the vocabulary,some common words in the Xianghua dialect are studied,mainly the words with internal differences,and a small number of highly consistent characteristic words in the Xianghua dialect are also displayed.Differences are mainly selected by the relatives title,animal sex markers and some other common words to compare.It shows the geographical distribution of various types of rural areas,including the central prominent type,the opposite type,the flank type and so on.The fourth chapter is the grammar study of geographical linguistics,and examines the distribution and development of pronouns,negative words and suffix zi(?)in various places.The fifth chapter is about the fragmentation of the local dialect and the influence factors of the fragmentation.By determining the standard of fragmentation,the Xianghua dialect was divided into six areas and compared with the existing fragmentation.The influence factors of the fragmentation of Xianghua dialects are analyzed,including geographical topography,administrative divisions,and language contact.In the last,summarizes the main contents of this paper,summarized the innovation and shortcomings of this paper,and puts forward the problems that need to be further studied.
