As the essential requirement of Marxist theoretical education and the core proposition of Ideological and political education,values education is the strong grasp and important mission of national ideological security construction,the due and top priority of socialist education with Chinese characteristics,and the core substance and primary task of the fundamental task of "Strengthening Morality and Cultivating People".From the perspective of human development,values education bears the important mission of human social and cultural heritage,spiritual world construction and values cultivation.From the perspective of individual development,values education bears the important mission of the significance of individual life existence and value growth.From the perspective of today's world,to seek common values as a guide has become a new trend of world development;to shape jointly the world of human values has become a common goal of all countries;to build a community of human values has become the primary mission of building a community of shared future for mankind.From the perspective of the great practice of Chinese revolution and construction,values education has always been the fine tradition and political advantage of the Communist Party of China,serving the central work and main task of the Party in all historical periods consciously.Since the reform and opening up,with the acceleration of the transformation of our society,values education has inevitably lagged behind because of its relative independence,which is mainly reflected in the "value division" of the spatial dimension and the "value fracture" of the historical dimension.The collapse of value rationality and the arrogation of instrumental rationality,the fanatical pursuit of material desire and the loss of spiritual belief,has made values education the tendency of separating from people's real life,such as instrumentalization,idealization and intellectualization,which leads to values education's ignorance of life subject,forgetting of real life and stripping of life significance,which makes values education unable to effectively explain real life,to react on real life,to lead people's pursuit of life significance and to realize its own commitment.Values education is alienated from the world of life and in trouble.Values education urgently needs to return to people's real life and constantly consolidate its theoretical basis of Marxism.With the historical progress and social changes,the theme of human society has changed from war,revolution and struggle in the past to peace,development and construction in the present,and life itself has gradually been put on the agenda.The theoretical quality of Marxism keeping pace with the times requires that the theoretical focus and the theoretical horizon it pays attention to also change accordingly.The value of Marx's life-world theory is also highlighted,and people's life world has gradually become one of the focuses of theoretical attention.Entering the new era,the main social contradiction in our society is transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development."A better life" has become our common goal,and "a better life" has formed the realistic call for both Marx's life-world theory and values education.The life world is an important content of Marxist theoretical exploration and an important part of Marxist theory.As the salvation of the spiritual world and the lost value world,Marx's life-world theory concerns the establishment of the value coordinate system of human society and the scale of the significance of human existence.Specifically speaking,the life world in the perspective of Marxist theory is not only a practical and communicative world that pays attention to people's needs and interests,but also a world that pursues the significance and value of human freedom and liberation.From the perspective of reality,the life world is the world composed of people's material interests.From the perspective of ultimate dimension,the life world is the world of people's free and all-round development.They are unified in the process of human social and historical development and people's pursuit of a better life.To examine and consolidate the theoretical basis of values education with Marx's life-world theory is not only the need to solve the practical dilemma of values education,but also the inner logic requirement of values education.Marx's life-world theory changes the vision of values education from scientific rationality to the combination of real life,from the focus on education concept to the combination of reality demand,which enlightens that values education should not only "connect the sky" but also"connect the ground",not only pay attention to the ultimate goal of "metaphysics",but also pay attention to the living situation of "physics".It means that,values education's foundation is in life,and its goal is to guide life.Values education should not only be based on people's practice and communication and care about people's needs and interests,but also pursue bravely people's free and all-round development.In other words,we should take the life world as the realistic foundation,the source of meaning and the end destination of values education.Values education should return to the life world in the perspective of Marxist theory."Returning" due to "alienation",values education returns to the life world is due to the alienation between values education and the life world.Values education's alienation from the life world is due to the great distance between "ideal situation" and "actual situation" of values education.That is to say,values education deviates from its own "original intention".Therefore,returning to the life world is to "examine" and "inquire" values education itself.Going to life and returning to life world become the logical basis and real outlet of values education.Returning to the life world is the process for values education to implement the foundation of the life world,as well as the process for the life world to acquire value consciousness.Returning to the life world conforms to the value destination of values education,and manifests the internal requirements of values education.Returning to the life world is to confirm the fundamental task of "Strengthening Morality and Cultivating People",to explore the unity of criticizing life and constructing life,and to concern the unity of factual life and meaningful life.Values education returning to the life world is a basic and key "topic",which cannot be separated from the principle of macro level orientation,but also from the detailed promotion of micro level specific paths."Return" is not the destination,but is to better complete and guide the new historical mission given by the times.Xi Jinping pointed out:"History always develops along with people's pursuit of a better life." The theoretical dimension of the life world has become the philosophical foundation of consolidating a better life.The realistic dimension of the life world calls for the pursuit and construction of a better life.At the same time,as the core content of values education in the new era and the contemporary Chinese expression of Marxist values,the cultivation and practice of socialist core values has become the core proposition of values education.Socialist core values are the value goals and norms that people agree with.They are the concentrated expression and specific description of a better life at the level of value concepts.They concern the flag and road,the value growth and significance survival of people,and the better life of people.The purpose of cultivating and practicing socialist core values is to build a better life that needs to be met and realized.The common pursuit of a better life is inseparable from the isomorphism of values education.The construction of a better life needs the same direction of force,the same frequency of resonance and the synchronous progress of values education.Therefore,the cultivation and practice of socialist core values in order to build a better life has become an important task and practical mission of values education in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.It can be said that values education is an eternal topic.As long as there is education for people,there will be values education.Values education is also a frequently talked new topic.As long as there is the expectation and pursuit of a better life,there will be values education.As a way of value existence of people and meaning world construction,values education is also a way for human beings to move towards freedom.It keeps watch the better life and free nature of human beings,and contains the common expectation for the better life and the ultimate pursuit of free personality.Values education in the new era is committed to the combination of common ideals to pursue a better life,to the creation of the highest ideal to realize people's free personality,and to the realization of the unity of realistic goals and far-reaching goals in the process of guiding people to construct a better life.
