A Study On Silk Road Partnership With Chinese Characteristics

President Xi Jinping emphasized that “history,reality,and the future are interlinked.” Major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics embodies deep historical and strategic thinking.Based on the historical experience of China's Silk Road diplomacy for the past,this paper starts a Silk Road study on "relationship" theory of international politics to explain the interactive relations between China and Silk Road partners,and strives to explore the "traits".Different from the related "alliance" concept group in the traditional western international relations theory,this article starts with the concept group of Silk Road Partnership,Silk Road Natural Partnership,Silk Road Strategic Partnership and Global Partnership to analyze the practice of the “Belt and Road” international cooperation platform and global partnership network.Among them,the Silk Road partners of developing countries in Asia,Africa and Latin America are the important foundations of China's diplomatic structure.So,the Silk Road Partnership represented by the three pairs of relations is main research target.First,through the historical tracing,it reveals the isomorphism between the ancient and the present Chinese diplomacy and the change of Silk Road interactions.Second,the Silk Road Partnership with Chinese characteristics is guided by Xi Jinping's diplomatic thinking,which explains the evolution of the topic of “China-World Relations” and enriches theories of civilization exchanges,international relations,and global governance with Chinese characteristics.Third,the cooperation mechanism of the Silk Road Partnership with Chinese characteristics is becoming more mature.By analyzing China-Africa,China-Arab,China-Latin America partnerships and the path of the Silk Road community with a shared future,it expounds that innovative platforms such as the three major forums have opened up new space for Silk Road partners' cooperation.Fourth,it selects three cases studies about China-Africa medical and health cooperation under the "Health Silk Road",China-Arab joint anti-terrorism cooperation under the "Peace Silk Road" and Sino-Latin American e-commerce cooperation under the "Digital Silk Road" among the three pillar areas of humanities,security and economy.Finally,it summarizes the characteristics of the Silk Road Partnership with Chinese Characteristics in the new era and conducts a performance evaluation.To sum up,this paper will return the research perspective to Silk Road,the main field of foreign exchanges,and point out that the Silk Road strategic partnership of Chinese diplomacy is full of Chinese characteristics in the new era.The close interaction between partners,upholding the "Silk Road Spirit",will realize the leap from the Silk Road Economic Community,the Silk Road Humanities Community,and the Silk Road Security Community to forming a new "common theme",the Silk Road Community with a Shared Future,which is the milestone to a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.
