the ideological field produced by the ruling class of a country in order to meet the needs of its material,spiritual,political,cultural,security and other development,when propaganda and education are carried out among group members.For the ruling parties of various countries in different periods,whether the mainstream ideology can achieve and maintain a strong cohesion is directly related to the effectiveness of the ruling party,the national recognition of the guiding ideology,and the success or failure of the whole national construction.Keep pace with the times and share destiny with the people.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,the People’s Republic of China has led the people of all nationalities throughout the country to make tremendous achievements in the past 70 years,established a new socialist China,opened up a Chinese model with Chinese characteristics,and creatively formed a theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Inheritance,innovation and development of socialist culture and ideology with Chinese characteristics have greatly enhanced the cohesion of socialist ideology in China.The process of the Communist Party of China leading ideological work and enhancing ideological cohesion is the process of constantly summing up experience and correcting mistakes.The promotion of socialistic ideological cohesion has gone through different stages of development,such as the establishment and consolidation period of socialistic new China,the reform and opening up period,and the inheritance and continuation of Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping.Over the past 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the cohesion of socialist ideology has been significantly enhanced.In the Report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,when summarizing the achievements made in the ideological field of our country,it emphasizes that it highlights the guiding position of Marxism,strengthens the leadership of the Party in ideological work,embodies the fundamental purpose of taking the interests of the people as the core,promotes the process of social civilization as a whole,and develops and prospers socialist culture.It has realized the promotion of the status,subject,position and ability of ideological work,and accumulated rich experience in ideological work.Therefore,to study and summarize the historical experience of the Communist Party of China in leading the promotion of socialist ideological cohesion in the past 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,to sort out the mistakes in ideological work since the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the aspects to be improved and improved,is of great significance for consolidating the achievements of socialist ideological construction,continuing to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology and promoting it.It is of great practical significance to promote the construction of socialist ideology in China in the new era.Since entering the new era,the Party has gradually paid more attention to ideological work,and General Secretary Xi has made important speeches on many occasions,emphasizing the importance of ideological work,including The National Conference on Propaganda and Ideological Work held in August 2013,the 1st Meeting of the Central Leading Group on Network Security and Informatization held in February 2014,the National Symposium on Literature and Art Work held in October,the important speech of inspecting PLA newspapers in December 2015,and the Party’s Symposium on News and Public Opinion held in February 2016.The Symposium on Network Security and Informatization held in April 2016 and the Symposium on Philosophy and Social Sciences held in May 2016 made important speeches,important instructions and important expositions on the importance of ideological work.In October 2017,at the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the report clearly stated:“Building a socialist ideology with strong cohesion and leadership”.This is the new requirement of our Party in the ideological field,and also the focus of our Party’s ideological work in the coming period.At the National Conference on Network Security and Informatization held in April 2018 and the National Conference on Ideological Propaganda and Ideological Work held in August 2018,the intensity of the struggle in the ideological field was emphasized again,the importance of ideological construction was also emphasized,and the urgency of enhancing ideological cohesion was highlighted.General Secretary Xi Jinping’s repeated emphasis on the importance of ideological work also reflects from one side that there are still many shortcomings need to be solved urgently in the cohesion of socialist ideology,which requires us to form a joint force from all aspects of ideology to enhance the cohesion of ideology.In this context,this paper summarizes the basic experiences of the construction of socialist ideological cohesion since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,combs the mistakes and shortcomings of the construction of socialist ideological cohesion since the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the aspects that still need to be improved,and further explains the specific ways to enhance socialist ideological cohesion in the new era.Guided by Marxism-Leninism,especially Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and aiming at enhancing the cohesion of socialist ideology,this paper develops in the following logical order: Firstly,it expounds the basic connotation,basic composition and basic function of ideology and the cohesion of socialist ideology by carding and reviewing China s Thought of Ideological Cohesion Construction since the Founding of the People s Republic of China;It systematically summarizes the ten basic experiences of the continuous improvement of socialist ideological cohesion since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago;Objectively analyzes the mistakes,shortcomings and aspects that need to be improved in the construction of socialist ideological cohesion;Rationally learns from the basic practices of other typical countries in the maintenance and promotion of ideological cohesion;Starting from the national conditions of our country in the new era,we should explore ways to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology.Specifically divided into the following six parts.The first chapter explains the basic concept of socialist ideological cohesion.This chapter is the starting point and basic theoretical basis of the whole paper,mainly clarifying the theoretical relationship between ideology and ideological cohesion,explaining the French thinker Traci’s proposal of the concept of ideology,Marx and Engels’ ideological theory,Lenin’s development of ideological theory,and the definition of ideology by Western scholars and Chinese scholars.It focuses on the analysis of the basic connotation and basic composition of the socialist ideological cohesion.The second chapter is the historical review of the construction of socialist ideological cohesion in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago.This chapter focuses on the 30 years before the reform and opening up and 30 years after the reform and opening up,as well as socialism into a new era,three stages of the 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China to enhance the historical process of socialist ideological cohesion,the main characteristics,the main initiatives.Before the reformation and opening up,the newly established new regime smashed the old state machinery,established the socialist system,and improved the new ideological institutions through a series of political movements to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology.Since the reform and opening up,China’s ideology has gone through three periods of ideological cohesion construction,namely,the turning period of socialist road,the establishment period of market economic system and the reformation into the key stage.In the new era,the construction of socialist ideological cohesion has established a new logical starting point,launched new construction measures and made unprecedented achievements.The third chapter is the basic experience of enhancing the cohesion of socialist ideology in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago.This chapter from the value of faith,leadership and specific strategies,explores and summarizes the ten experiences of the continuous improvement of socialist ideological cohesion.First,we have always believed that there is no strong cohesion of socialist ideology without the guidance of Marxism;Second,we have always regarded “people’s character” as the fundamental position of socialist ideological work;Third,we have always adhered to the Party’s management of ideology as the fundamental experience of enhancing the cohesion of socialist ideology;Fourth,we have constantly strengthened the Party’s construction and cohesion of ideas and strength;Fifth,we have always attached importance to the continuous innovation of ideological theory;Sixth,we have always attached importance to improving the ideological ability of leading cadres;Seventh,we have always attached importance to the guidance of socialist ideology to various social trends of thought;Eight,we have always attached importance to guiding public opinion to enhance ideological identity;Ninth,we have always attached importance to the innovation of ways and means to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology;Tenth,we have always paid attention to creating a cultural atmosphere to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology.Among them,the first and second belong to the level of value belief,the third and the fourth belong to the level of leadership,and the fifth to the tenth belong to the specific strategic level.The fourth chapter is about the mistakes in the construction of socialist ideological cohesion since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago.This chapter mainly analyzes the mistakes and lessons of the construction of ideological cohesion before the reformation and opening up in 1978,and the shortcomings and aspects to be improved of the construction of socialist ideological cohesion after the reformation and opening up.The fifth chapter is the measures of the construction of ideological cohesion of the typical countries in the world.Ideology is the core of cultural thoughts of all countries in the world,and it is also the soul and spiritual link of the universal country and nation.It is one of the basic elements of the country and the nation,and plays a fundamental supporting role in the survival and development of the country and the nation.This chapter analyzes the characteristics and referential experiences of the ideological cohesion practices in the typical countries of the world,including the United States,France,Russia,Singapore.The sixth chapter is the way to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology in the new era.This chapter is the end-result of the whole paper,mainly explores ways to enhance the cohesion of socialist ideology in the new era from the perspective of the fundamental purpose of socialist ideological work,belief cohesion,values cohesion,theory cohesion,culture cohesion,public opinion cohesion and system cohesion,so as to form a set of targeted strategies and carry out them scientifically.In short,the cohesion of socialist ideology requires the joint efforts of the party,the country,and society to truly improve,enter a new era,build a socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics,and closely unite the ideas of the 1.4 billion people across the country to form a strong The incomparable strength of advancement is an
