Educational anthropology had undergone above 60 years' development history,which was shaped into independent discipline in the 1950s.However,due to the differences of national-country conformation and relative disciplinarytradition,educational anthropology in different countries displaysdiscrepant internal formalization and developmental level Britain boasts disciplinary tradition with a long history,but there is little information about educational anthropology mentioned.Ethnography and Education was formed from Educational Anthropology in Britain,founded in 2006.Therefore,the analysis about the journal articles not only seizes the recent years' dynamicstate of educational anthropology in the English-language academic circles,but also provide reference for domestic scholars.Ethnography and Educationcouldn't happen overnight,which had experienced embryonic stage,construal stage and multiple stage.Particularly,during the third phase,The Oxford Ethnography Conference brought about its existence,and it aims to offer sustained and steady exchange platform.The size and structure of researchers reflect the development level of certain subject.As for researchers' origin,because of various degree of subjectmaturity in different countries and distinct researchers' language acquisition,they were mainly come from Anglo-American and Nordic countries.For the contrast between researchers' origin and its surveyregion,researchers almost paid attention to native study,and seekingnovelty in other countries have past.Morever,the nature of workunit of many researchers' belonged to pedagogy,and then sociology and anthropology.As far as the core author was concerned,journal editors Beach and Wolford played a leading role.And there were few authors who published above 4 articles,so this suggested that the journal processed manuscript source extensively.The keyword is to embody the subject of academicpapers,and extracted word or words from the article.Therefore,it reflects the focal points and hot problems of studying in the relative subject area.By carding the literature from 2006 to 2013,there are fifteen keywords counted according to the frequency in order,including ethnography,education,identity,child or childhood,immigrant,ethic,race,performativity,teacher,student,reflexivity,discourse,gender,fieldwork and representation,and especially ten of them were interpreted under the Ethnography and Education.For purpose of presenting thefocal points and hot problems of studying,ethnography and education are regarded as guides,and are compared to the relation of key and lock,which will pave below.If what is mentioned is overview about document literature,research topic is perceived as detailed analysis.In the light of researchers' intentions,all of data are divided into the reflection of educational ethnography and the concrete analysis of educational problems.In the reflection of educational ethnography respect,researchers were based on personal experiences in fieldwork and ethnographic writing to rethink and summarize critically,which manifested elaborate and forward-looking research contents,reflective criticism and uncertainty of ethical and moral standards.For the concrete analysis of educational problems,besides micro-ethnography in the school,there were eight subcultures associated with schooling,such as ethnicity,religion,language,class,residential location,special people,child and gender,which highlighted fitness with era development,prominence of problems,intersectionality of culture influence and fineness of experience and observation.In fact,as empiricalresearch,the concrete analysis of educational problems in Ethnography and Education had formed a set of writing formula.And only twenty-five of them utilized theoretical framework,especially Pierre Bourdieu'symbolic capital and cultural reproduction theory,and the other theories of Foucault,Giddens and Bernstein were employed twice,which disclosed equal and fair problems and direct running mechanism at schoolWhat is based on the analyses about authors,keywords,subject contents,research thoughts and theory frames above reach four points:first,it is necessary that ethnography is applied to educational research area,and notably the reflection and application of critical ethnography;second,the reflection of educational ethnography not only break through the mode of speculative logic reasoning departed,but also has critical innovation;third,the analysis of educational problems stand out the problem of ethnicity,as well as cover religion,language,class,residential location and so on,and particularly we should learn to study the research of child and special people;forth,the preciseness of research design showed in empirical study.
