Environmental issues are one of the major challenges of our time. From changing weather patterns that threaten food production,to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding,to the hitherto unexplained new crown epidemic, the effects of continued environmental degradation are global and will continue for quite some time.Effective measures must be taken to control them,or the future will be costly.Clearly, the role of human influence on environmental systems is indisputable, and human behavior may still determine the future course of the environment.Significant and sustained reductions in CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions should be considered in order to limit climate change.Companies,as dual agents of social life and business activities, are not only the "ringers" of environmental problems, but also the "unringers" of efforts to improve the environment. The strategies adopted by companies directly affect environmental changes and,of course, their implementation is subject to environmental changes. While there is still a debate about whether to go green or not, most companies have recognized the need to take steps to avoid environmental degradation and to balance their social responsibility with economic benefits.Businesses should choose a green,low-carbon,sustainable path. Most companies are now aware of the importance of environmental issues in the context of sustainable business development. As a result, green innovation strategies are increasingly becoming a synergistic solution for the environmental and economic benefits of enterprises that are of common interest to both academic and management practice communities.Currently, the research interest in green innovation strategy is increasing and the number of research results involved is growing, but there are still some shortcomings in the research on green innovation strategy.Firstly, the research results in the field of green innovation strategy have covered a relatively wide range of topics depending on the purpose and background of the researchers, but some areas are still under-researched(e.g.,the influence of employees as stakeholders on green innovation strategy);secondly, after extensive reading of the literature,it is found that scholars have not paid comprehensive attention to the drivers of green innovation strategy, focusing more on examining the influence of each independent variable on Secondly, after extensive reading of the literature,we found that scholars’ focus on the drivers of green innovation strategy is not comprehensive, but more focused on examining the direct influence of each independent variable on green innovation strategy. However, the drivers of green innovation strategy are complex and multifaceted, involving multiple factors, categories and fields, and these factors and fields often influence each other and have linkages and synergistic effects, and these linkages and synergistic effects are the real drivers for choosing green innovation strategy. Finally, less attention is paid to the direct performance of green innovation,i.e.,the increase of green products and the improvement of green processes.Green innovation performance characterized by green product development and green process improvement is an effective way to help companies get out of the increased costs due to green measures.Through the above literature combing this paper decided to take green innovation strategy as the core research content, and used the green innovation strategy literature in CNKI and Web of Science databases as the research samples, and used Cite Space,VOSviewer, and pajek software for bibliometric analysis.Through the visual analysis of Chinese and English literature, the research lineage of Chinese and English literature on green innovation strategy was sorted out,key words co-occurrence and hot topics were identified, and the research direction of this paper was proposed,so that the specific research content and innovation points of this paper were determined. After clarifying its concepts, dimensions and measurement-related issues, this study proposes to focus on two sub-studies based on green innovation strategies, including "A study of green innovation strategy drivers based on stakeholder theory"(Sub-study I)and "A study of green innovation performance based on SAP-LAP framework"(Sub-study II)."(Sub-study II).Sub-study I uses data from 266 case samples to analyze and examine the perspectives of four main stakeholders-government,market and corporate managers and employees, categorizing regulatory pressure and market pressure as external corporate drivers and managers’ environmental perception and employees’ participation as internal corporate drivers, conducting qualitative comparative analysis to examine the influence of stakeholders on the choice of green innovation strategy, which is the first part of this study,i.e.,the antecedent study of green innovation strategy.Based on the SAP-LAP framework, organizational learning theory, and knowledge base theory,sub-study 2uses empirical regression analysis to examine the data of 316 samples based on the"strategy-behavior-performance" paradigm to verify the impact of green innovation strategies on The study also introduces the green technology motive. The study also introduces green technology turbulence as an external boundary condition, and selects organizational green learning and green knowledge sharing as mediating variables to explain the "green innovation strategy-green innovation performance"path mechanism according to organizational learning theory and knowledge base theory. Conclusions: First, there are 3 grouping paths of high green innovation strategy tendency, which can be categorized into two types: externally driven and internally and externally coordinated, and the results of both types are the same,i.e.,the paths that motivate firms to choose green innovation strategies are not unique, and there may be multiple paths that can all produce the same results, and different combinations can all produce high level green innovation strategies.Second, there are 2 groupings of non-high green innovation strategy tendencies, and there is asymmetry between the paths of high green innovation strategy and non-high green innovation strategy groupings. This asymmetry means that the causes that lead to high green innovation strategy are different from the causes that lead to non-high green innovation strategy, and there is no symmetry relationship.Third, green innovation strategy as a stable situational state of the firm has a significant positive impact on green innovation performance.Fourth, organizational green learning and green knowledge sharing simultaneously and partially mediate the relationship between positive green innovation strategies and green innovation performance;the overall path is "green innovation strategy-organizational green learning-green knowledge sharing-green innovation performance".Green innovation performance".Fifth, green technology turbulence positively mediates the relationship between green innovation strategy and green innovation performance, and positively mediates the relationship between green innovation strategy and organizational green learning;and positively mediates the relationship between green knowledge sharing.Further study found that the moderating effect of green technology turbulence between green innovation strategy and supplier knowledge sharing relationship was not significant. In summary,in Sub-study I,this paper thoroughly explores the driving forces of green innovation strategies and the group matching mechanisms between them, and explains the driving mechanisms of firms’ choice of green innovation strategies completely based on stakeholder theory;in Sub-study II,we further continue to study the results of firms’ implementation of green innovation strategies, and verify the positive effects of green innovation strategies on green innovation performance,as well as the path mechanisms and boundary conditions, based on the SAP-LAP framework, organizational learning theory and knowledge base theory.
