Language Contemporary Deconstruction Of Cold Region Building Cluster In Natural Context

The cold building cluster is a clustering phenomenon in nature.Like the vast stars,microscopic particles,flying birds and diving fish,the cold building cluster is a building composed of a single building individual accordi ng to a certain grouping rule.Groups are a form of settlement gradually formed by people living in cold areas in the face of extreme natural climate conditions through long-term development.Affected by the international paradigm of modernism,the current cold region building clusters are faced with the problems of lack of geographic characteristics and intermittent regional context,which has led to the same imagines of the city phenomenon.At the same time,there are many problems in the theory and design methods of traditional cold building clusters: the logical contradiction between the ‘top-down” macro-planning and the ‘bottom-up” generated by the self-organization of building clusters;The problem of mismatch between the spatial configuration of building clusters and the community networks;the problem of incoordination between traditional perceptual design and the rational development of current data ear.With the gradual completion of China urbanization process,the design focus has changed from rough new construction to refined development,and the renewal design of building clusters in cold regions has gradually become the focus of construction in northern of China.Therefore,a new design method for building clusters in cold regions is imperative.Under this background,this dissertation uses linguistic methods to systematically study the cold region building clusters,combined with the natural context,deconstructs the cold region building cluster language,in order to provide a set of methods that can solve the current problems.At the theoretical level,this article draws on the cognition from linguistics to re-observe the clustering phenomenon of buildings in cold regions.The author first asked ‘Is architecture a language?’ and explained the three similarities between natural language and building clusters in cold region: First,the cold region building cluster has the symbolic nature of language,and the cold region building cluster is not only the spatial entity itself,tt is a response to the user’s behavior and social relations.The sense of space and place constitutes the contractual relationship between the signifier and the signified in language.Second,there is a process similar to natural language in the spatial cognition of the cold reg ion building clusters,that is,the translation process from ‘deep logic’ to ‘surface logic’.Space users need to combine their own ‘transcendental’ to the spatial entity.Produce different interpretations from person to person.Third,architectural entiti es and space places form the semantic relationship between the ontology and representation in the language,and language rhetorical methods such as metaphor and association are also applicable in space design.Therefore,this dissertation attributes the cold region building clusters to a language phenomenon in a natural context and conducts research.At the method level,this dissertation draws on the relevant methods of linguistics,and proposes a design method system for the language deconstruction of contemporary cold region building clusters.Deconstruction is a process from deconstruction to construction.First,it is necessary to disassemble the cold building clusters in a specific context,refine the morphemes,and establish the contractual relationship between the morphemes and the new ‘meaning’,so as to reorganize the morphemes according to the specific syntax to form new language.Contemporary‘deconstruction’ can be understood as a new design method of ‘transcendental’database establishment,correlation model construction,and language generative construction.This dissertation uses geographic information system(GIS)as the operating platform to realize this process,collecting and processing ‘transcendental’data,and constructing the association model between the various components of the building cluster.At the content level,this dissertation takes the cold region building cluster language as the research content,and through systematic problem analysis and key element induction,the cold region building cluster language is disassembled into‘pattern language’,‘structural language’ and ‘image language’.In the pattern language,it is further disassembled into point patterns,egment patterns,and courtyard patterns,focusing on the distribution of morphemes of each pattern;in structural languages,it is further disassembled into grid structure,cell structure,and branch structure,focusing on the organizational relationship of each structural morpheme in the overall network;in the image language,it is further disassembled into single image morphemes,interface image morphemes,and overall image morphemes,focusing on the method of each morpheme forming the overall image.In summary,facing the existing problems and research dilemmas of the c urrent cold region building clusters,this dissertation systematically constructs the contemporary cold building cluster language deconstruction research framework.In the natural context,the three core sub-level contents are delineated in context,namely ‘pattern language under natural culture’,‘structural language under natural logic’,and ‘image language under natural aesthetics’.A workflow of morpheme refining,syntactic deduction,and language reconstruction has been carried out of the three core sub-levels.Finally provide a new method system for the design of contemporary cold region building clusters.
