| In the process of urbanization and industrialization, urban landscape has become more and more homogeneous, while rural areas have relative integrality in local preservation, becoming an important type of tourism destination in leisure life nowadays.Although China’s rural tourism is in the golden development period under the policy support and guidance, there is alienation in rural tourism space, place and landscape. From the strategic perspective of ecological civilization construction, the development of rural tourism should not only make rural tourism activities consistent with the sustainable development of rural regional system, but also realize the long-term sustainable development of rural tourism industry itself. Therefore, the rural tourism development should refer to sustainable rural tourism, point to a balance and coordination among ecology, economy, society and culture.Sustainable rural tourism can carry the diverse economic and spiritual needs of contemporary human society.More specifically, what carries these economic and spiritual needs is the rural local cultural authenticity. What makes these economic and spiritual needs run in the way of tourism industry is the spatial activation of the pursuit of spatial justice in the capital circulation involved in rural tourism activities. What makes these economic and spiritual needs integrate and interact in a variety of situations such as ecological civilization, economic development and a better life is the landscape management involving ecological protection, visual communication and cultural representation.Rural tourism activities take rural landscape as the object of perception and experience. In terms of ecological environment, landscape is closely related to the production and living space of rural aborigines. In terms of cultural representation, landscape is the static projection and dynamic evolution of local authenticity; In terms of visual aesthetics, landscape is the direct object of rural tourism gaze.As the object of tourists’ perception and experience, rural landscape involves not only the cultural problems of local authenticity, but also the capital problems of space production. Therefore, landscape management is linked with local authenticity and space activation. This study discusses the sustainable development of rural tourism from the essence of man-land relationship. It is an interdisciplinary research focusing on cultural study and human geography. It takes "rural tourism" as the research object, takes the theory of "space/ place / landscape Trinity" by cultural researcher Mitchell as the theoretical resource, takes the western landscape management thought as the reference, and takes combing the current reality of rural tourism in China as the problem orientation.Specifically,it discusses the three theoretical dimensions of sustainable rural tourism, analyzes the practice of these three theoretical dimensions in sustainable rural tourism, gathers and settles the three practical paths on the research platform and practical tool of landscape management, and constructs a general theoretical model of rural tourism landscape management. This study is attempting to the future research and practice of China’s rural tourism that can carry out the landscape management of "one place, one discussion" on the basis of a relatively universal theoretical model.Through the theoretical research,it is found that the place, space and landscape are three dimensions for analyzing sustainable rural tourism.Taking them as the entrance to the development and management of sustainable rural tourism is to inject vitality into the local truth with the construction of local brand, activate space with spatial deconstruction and reconstruction, and coordinate the conflict between culture and capital with the check and balance of landscape attributes. The three dimensions can converge on the research platform and practical tool of landscape management.Around cultural authenticity, the theoretical model of landscape management of sustainable rural tourism takes three paths: spatial system management, local brand management and landscape attribute management. Then it takes rural landscape planning and rural landscape protection as two modes, and takes scientific and technological innovation and cultural authenticity as the internal and external support. |
