Emotion,as a universal response to objective things shared by human beings,is not only a psychological experience,but also has the attribute of social interaction,and is a bridge between individuals and society.The expression and dissemination of emotions are closely related to cultural backgrounds,and different cultural backgrounds have different ways of expression and dissemination of emotions.In the context of Chinese culture,Confucianism pays particular attention to emotions and regards emotions as an important basis for people to survive in society.Based on the perspective of communication science,this article combines the relevant theoretical knowledge of emotional sociology to study the pre-Qin Confucian emotional communication thoughts with the method of interpretation and comparison,in order to reveal the features of the Chinese native communication thoughts.This article defines the pre-Qin Confucian emotional communication as social communication and communication behavior driven by moral emotions,so as to maintain a stable social order.The internal communication method lies in that moral emotions enter the Li(礼)and Yue(乐)system and become the internal driving force for people to obey Li(礼).At the same time,the Li(礼)and Yue(乐)system serves as a norm to constrain and guide people’s emotional expression and dissemination,so that it can achieve the beauty of neutral(中和)communication.Therefore,moral emotion is a core force of pre-Qin Confucianism to construct social order.On the one hand,this article combines the pre-Qin classics and documents to sort out the changes in the pre-Qin Confucian thoughts on emotional communication,that is,the transition from emotional dominance to the interaction of emotional and reasonal,and contrasts the differences between Confucianism and Legalism in social governance ideas.On the other hand,combining the cases in Zuo Zhuan(《左传》)and Guo Yu(《国语》),starting from the Chinese cultural context to explain the pre-Qin Confucian thoughts on emotional communication.Specifically,first,take"Shen Sheng’s filial piety" as an example to illustrate the process of inward communication of emotions,in which the emotion of filial piety is the main driving force for Shen Sheng,the emotion is a sincere emotion,and the inward communication of emotions has a process from hidden to obvious.This article also contrasts the Confucian and Taoist emotion communication thoughts;Second,explore the pre-Qin Confucian thoughts on interpersonal emotional interaction based on the principle of "loyalty and forgiveness"(“忠恕之道”),and explain the expression and dissemination of benevolence and honesty in the form of specific emotional interaction of "Bao"(“报”);Thirdly,to explore the issue of the spread of emotions between the monarchs and the people of the Pre-Qin Confucianism.Regarding the dissemination of public emotions such as "popular grievances" and "popular anger",the pre-Qin Confucian advocates that rulers should pay full attention to popular sentiments and take effective measures to resolve public grievances and achieve the effects of "风行草偃"(wind blows and grass bends)"众星共辰"(many stars circle the North Pole).Finally,this article elaborates the pre-Qin Confucian thoughts on emotional communication and its enlightenment on the cultivation and promotion of core socialist values in China.That is to say,the key to the cultivation and promotion of core socialist values lies in emotional identification.There are three strategic paths:physical demonstration,ritual dissemination,and construction of a public opinion feedback mechanism.
