Since the 21 st century,the rich cultural resource in China’s rural areas have become the important part of industrial development,and the rural cultural industries has become an emerging industry that drives the transformation of rural economic structure and an important force in modernizing rural area.Under the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,Chinese rural cultural industry show its great development potential,and various folk handicrafts,rural tourism,agriculture tourism,rural art performance,tourist towns,and pastoral complexes have emerged one after another.industrial form.As Chinese rural cultural industries is still in the early stage of development,the theoretical research and practical activities are not mature enough.If we blindly develop rural cultural resources in accordance with the standards of modernization,industrialization,and urbanization without a deep understanding of the particularities of rural area,rural culture and rural cultural industries,a series of problems will inevitably arise,and may even affect the positive development of rural areas.Cultural resources,social economy and ecological environment will be damaged.In this context,only by solving the theoretical problems and practical dilemmas of the development of the rural cultural industries in China can we truly accomplish the rapid and sustainable development of the rural cultural industry.Based on this,this dissertation takes the basic connotation,industry composition,development basis,practical difficulties,theoretical basis,basic principles and development strategies of the rural cultural industry as the research object,and combine theory with practice to find an appropriate way for Chinese rural cultural industries.This dissertation is divided into eight parts,the main contents of each part are as follows:The introduction part takes the background of the topic selection and the research significance as the starting point,and it summarizes,analyzes and evaluates the relevant research results of China’s rural cultural industry,and finds problems that remain to be solved or can be further studied.On this basis,the research ideas and methods are established,and the difficulties that may be encountered,and the innovations in theoretical research and practical application are expounded.The first chapter defines and expounds the basic meaning of rural cultural industry.This part firstly defines the concepts of countryside and rural area,culture and rural culture,cultural industries and rural cultural industries.Compared to “countryside”,the “rural” is broader and has more cultural and symbolic meaning;rural cultural industries refers to the cultural industries form with rural characteristics,the urban cultural industries is not in the range of this dissertation.Compared to urban cultural industries,rural cultural industries has regional cultural differences,stable industry structure,dependence on local resource and diversity of production methods.Promoting rural cultural industries,the practical value of development mainly reflects the four aspects of economy,culture,society and ecology.At the same time,it has far-reaching significance for Chinese urban-rural integrated development,the implementation of rural revitalization strategy,national modernization and even the full realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The second chapter selects five types,including folk handicrafts,rural leisure tourism,rural art performance,tourist towns and pastoral complexes,which have developed rapidly in my country in recent years,as specific research objects.The connotation and characteristics,development history and status quo,production organization form or main industry types of various formats are sorted out and analyzed.Rural cultural industry is a macro concept,and it covers a wide variety of industries,so different industries have their own characteristics and development logic,and it is difficult to measure them with a unified standard.Through the analysis of different formats,we can understand the development status of each format.From this,we can also roughly clarify the overall development context and status quo of Chinese rural cultural industries,and at the same time make analysis and measure.The third chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages for the development of Chinese rural cultural industries.The growth of cultural consumption demand brought by experience economy,the development of nostalgic economy caused by the local complex,the expansion of the cultural market under globalization,the upgrading of the rural industrial structure brought by the development of science and technology,the emergence of a large number of rural talents and a series of rural cultures introduced by the country policies and relevant regulations,all above mention have created favorable conditions for the development of Chinese rural cultural industry.However,disadvantages such as underdeveloped infrastructure in rural areas,insufficient investment,lack of cooperation with related industries,weak competitiveness of production and operation entities,and difficulties in many cultural policies exert their due effects have seriously hindered the development of my country’s rural cultural industry.process.Only by making full use of the advantages and gradually overcoming disadvantages can the accomplish the rapid development of rural cultural industries.The fourth chapter deeply analyzes the main dilemma of the development of my country’s rural cultural industry at present.First,the way of thinking of developers is outdated,which results the problems such as focusing on short-term benefits,lack of macro vision,weak innovative mind,plagiarism,and the prevalence of binary opposition;second,deviations stand between theory and application.It is mainly manifested in three aspects: regarding rural modernization as the modernization of rural economy,developing all cultural resources in an industrialized way,and preferring “urbanization” in rural construction.Third,weak foundation,lack of cultural talents,weak brand awareness,outdated management system,lack of overall planning are the problems.The fifth chapter includes the theoretical basis and basic principles of rural cultural development.This part points out the rural construction theories advocated by theorists represented by Liang Shuming and Fei Xiaotong,the urban-rural integrated development theory that tries to break the binary opposition structure between urban and rural areas,the theory that can make resources,capital,technology,talents,information and other industrial elements obtain the fully shared industrial agglomeration theory,and the new endogenous development theory that can use both external forces and endogenous power.These theories that promote industrial development have important guiding significance for the development of my country’s rural cultural industry.In addition,in view of the problems existing in the development of rural cultural industries in China,policy makers and developers should follow the principles such as agricultural orientation,adaption to local condition,sustainable development and dialectical unity.Decision makers and developers should have a deep understanding of the theoretical basis for the development of rural cultural industries and the basic principles to be followed,and then use this to guide and standardize various behaviors in project development and production.The sixth chapter introduces several typical models of rural cultural industries in China and other countries.Among them,the domestic rural cultural industries takes the village collective-led model of Yuanjia Village in Shaanxi,the village collective with social capital joint development model of Taishan Village in Henan,and the external capital pry model of Zhuquan Village in Shandong as examples.Analyzing the successful experiences of these three typical development models can provide references for the development of cultural industries in other rural areas in China.The foreign rural cultural industries takes the British rural tourism model,the French multifunctional rural construction model and the Japanese art rural construction model as examples.By analyzing the background,policies and concepts of rural cultural industries development in these three countries,as well as the roles played by the government,enterprises,associations,and the public,this part can provide reference for the overall planning and development of Chinese rural cultural industries.The seventh chapter is based on the principles of the development of the rural cultural industries and on drawing on the typical development experience at home and abroad,and then it puts forward corresponding development strategies for the problems existing in the rural cultural industries in China.The specific strategies are as follows: First,decision makers and developers must break through the limitation of project thinking and product thinking,continue to expand the field of thinking,and rationally and flexibly use dialectical thinking,strategic thinking,industrial thinking,cross-border thinking,innovative thinking,scientific way of thinking;the second is to establish an evaluation system for the value elements of rural cultural resource and an evaluation system for the development effect of rural cultural industries,so that the development value of rural cultural resource can be based on evidence and the development effect of rural cultural industries can be tested;the third is to promote the development of rural cultural resource.At the same time of modernization construction,we must deeply understand the connotation of rural modernity,and then take appropriate measures to realize the modern reconstruction of rural space,aesthetic image,social environment and the spirit of the times;the fourth is to complete the rural talent support system and explore diversified investment and financing models,enrich the creative elements of cultural products,create the brand of rural cultural industry,and improve the rural cultural management system to gradually enhance the endogenous driving force for the development of rural cultural industries.
