| In traditional Chinese philosophy,"Shen(身)" has rich content,including body and mind,which means life.Although the life philosophy in Laozi is a traditional research field,but most of the previous studies have ignored the important value of "Shen(身)",while the actual existence of human life is embodied in one’s own "Shen(身)".The philosophical interpretation of "Shen(身)" in Laozi should be based on philology.From the perspective of philology,the semantic scope of "Shen(身)" includes "Xing(形)" and "Ti(体)",both of which refer to a part or function of "Shen(身)".On the premise of clarifying the meaning of "Shen(身)",it is necessary to clarify the different references of "Shen(身)"in different contexts of laozi,so as to connect the meaning of "Shen(身)" with the important categories in Laozi’s philosophical system,and explore the deep connotation of Laozi in this process.The important philosophical categories in Laozi are closely related to "Shen(身)"."Dao(道)" and "De(德)",as two core categories of Laozi’s philosophical system,have been related to the foot,head,eyes and the action and observation of f"Shen(身)" since the beginning of writing-"Dao(道)" and"De(德)" cannot be separated from the relationship with "Shen(身)" in the process of the development and evolution of word meanings until they officially become philosophical categories.Laozi’s proposal of "Dao(道)" of and"De(德)" comes from his deep concern for human suffering in the historical background at that time.The purpose of"Dao(道)" is to make people pursue the metaphysical transcendental ideal value,so as to break through the limited self and integrate with the infinite "Dao(道)"."De(德)" aims to make people abandon the bad mind and excessive desire in the secular level,so as to return to the original nature of self and achieve a life state full of virtue."Dao(道)","Shen(身)" and"Wu(物)" can shared feeling and understanding.When "De(德)" returns,human life can be restored to a continuous process of change,movement and development.By turning to "Qi(气)",we can dispel the artificial uneasiness of life,and let our "Shen(身)" blending into the great popularity of the natural universe.Through the "Guo(国)",the sage’s moral cultivation method was naturally applied to the political field,so that the people could live and work in peace and the country could enjoy long-term stability.It is a feasible way to study the philosophical thoughts of Laozi from the perspective of "Shen(身)",which means an in-depth analysis of the book Laozi from the perspective of the actual existence of human life.More than that,this research can also correct the one-sided and simplified understanding of the self and others,in order to guide people to take"Shen(身)" as the link,respect the diversity of life,and live in harmony with others and all things.In this way,life will not be alienated and objectified,but to keep a lively existence state. |
