Research On Cultural Confidence And Its Cultivation In The New Era

General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that "strengthening cultural confidence is a major issue concerning the rise and fall of the country,cultural security and national spiritual independence." Culture,as the basic form of civilization,carries the future and hope of a country and a nation.When culture prospers,the country will prosper,and when culture declines,the country will decline.To cultivate and enhance cultural confidence in the new era is a major realistic subject facing the Chinese nation,the People’s Republic of China and the Communist Party of China.In history,the Chinese people created a civilization that attracted worldwide attention,and also created a splendid culture.Cultural confidence has become the gene and blood of the Chinese nation.However,since modern times,with the overall impact of western civilization,especially the penetration of capitalist culture,cultural confidence has gradually become a big problem facing the Chinese nation and people.In the course of leading the Chinese people’s revolution,development and reform,the COMMUNIST Party of China(CPC)has achieved a significant increase in overall national strength,and the Chinese nation has achieved a great leap from standing up,becoming rich to becoming strong.This has laid a solid foundation for cultural confidence.The Party has always attached great importance to cultural development.On the basis of the organic integration of excellent traditional Chinese culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,socialist culture with Chinese characteristics has been formed.Cultural confidence thus has a solid foundation.Since the 18th NATIONAL Congress of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has combined confidence in culture,the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics,theory and system with the goal of building a strong socialist culture.Historic achievements have been made in cultural development,and cultural confidence has grown stronger and deeper.But also cannot be ignored,still exist some problems in the new era of cultural self-confidence,especially facing the impact from western capitalist civilization,culture and challenges,which demands that we still have to hold cultural construction,strengthen the cultural confidence of material and spiritual foundation,enhance the depth of the new era of cultural self-confidence,extent and thickness.Under the guidance of Marxism,especially General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on cultural self-confidence in the new era,this paper comprehensively and deeply discusses the construction of cultural self-confidence in the new era from four aspects by using historical research method,literature analysis method,comparative research method,theory and practice method.The first part is a theoretical explanation of the concept,connotation,essence and characteristics of cultural confidence in the new era,which is the theoretical basis of the paper.The thesis holds that "culture" in cultural confidence refers to the concept of culture in a narrow sense,that is,culture refers to the social ideology including knowledge,faith,art,morality,law,customs and habits,and it has corresponding system and organizational elements and structures.Conceptually speaking,cultural confidence in the new era refers to the Chinese people’s overall recognition and full affirmation of the cultural value of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and their pride and firm belief in the vitality of the culture.In terms of connotation,cultural confidence in the new era is confidence in Chinese culture,including excellent traditional Chinese culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture.The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root of confidence,revolutionary culture is the root of confidence,and advanced socialist culture is the soul of confidence.In essence,cultural confidence in the new era is confidence in the value of Excellent Chinese culture,confidence in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and political confidence in the COMMUNIST Party of China.In terms of characteristics,cultural confidence in the new era is a more basic,broader and profound confidence,and a more basic,deeper and lasting power.In a sense,enhancing cultural confidence in the new era is an inevitable requirement for national rejuvenation,eliminating cultural confidence and enhancing cultural soft power.Second,it discusses the basic conditions and generative logic of cultural perspective of practical logic,cultural confidence in the new era is fundamentally based on the great achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics,constantly absorbing nutrients from the practical exploration of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and taking the decline of western capitalist civilization represented by "western chaos" as an important observation,thus creating our cultural confidence.Thirdly,it makes an in-depth analysis of the present situation,opportunities and challenges of cultural self-confidence in the new era.The paper holds that since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the CPC Central Committee has comprehensively promoted the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the aspects of national strategy,social life and school education.Cultural reform and cultural construction have made remarkable achievements,and cultural confidence has become the general consensus of the Chinese nation,the Chinese people and the CPC.From channels for Chinese culture to make its voice heard overseas.In general,the paper not only elaborated the basic theory and theoretical basis of cultural confidence in the new era,analyzed the generation logic of cultural confidence in the new era,but also analyzed the current situation of cultural confidence in the new era,especially the opportunities and challenges,based on the new era of Socialism with Chinese characteristics and its domestic and international environment.On the basis of this,the author explores the basic countermeasures and main ways to cultivate and promote cultural self-confidence in the new era,which provides a certain accumulation for the academic circle to further study this issue.At the same time,the thesis also has some shortcomings,for example,the cultivation strategy of cultural confidence in the new era is not detailed enough,and the organic combination of path and strategy has not been fully realized,which needs further study.
