| Theoretical education is a matter of the future and destiny of political parties,the long-term stability of the country and the cohesion of the nation.Concentrated Marxist theoretical education within the Party is an important educational practice strategy of the CPC to respond to the general situation of the times and historical trends,grasp the laws of social development,strengthen the Party’s own construction,and concentrate on the revolution,construction and reform.As an important part of the ideological and political education of the Communist Party of China,it has become a fine tradition and political advantage of the Party to concentrate on Marxist theory education to arm the Party and educate the people with scientific Marxist theories.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,our Party has always been committed to relying on centralized Marxist theoretical education within the Party to continuously raise the ideological and theoretical level of the entire Party,and has consciously paid attention to the theoretical sobriety and firmness of the Communists from the height of ideological construction.At present,in the face of new situations,new challenges and new problems,the Communist Party of China is taking into account the two major international and domestic situations,based on the new road of catching up to achieve the second hundred-year goal,focusing on promoting the new great project of building the Party and concentrating on building socialism with Chinese characteristics,which has put forward higher requirements on the theoretical level,ideological level,political quality and governing ability of Party members and cadres.It can be said that it has become an extremely important and more urgent major issue to strengthen the Party’s ideological and political work in the new era by refining the thinking of the whole Party,enhancing theoretical consciousness,raising political awareness and promoting scientific governance.Based on the background of the era when reform and opening up brought about sweeping changes in China,this article discusses the major issue of Marxist theory education in the Party since reform and opening up,from the perspective of the status of the “lifeline” of ideological and political work,in the context of the convergence of history and reality,including the definition of the premise,historical summary,generalization of experience,study of reality,and exploration of the way forward.The paper explores the core issues of determining the premises,summarizing the history,generalizing the experience,judging the reality and exploring the way forward.The paper focuses on the following five areas for in-depth study and interpretation:’Chapter 1: Defining the premises for the study of Marxist theory education in the Party.This chapter aims to clarify the prerequisites of this study,focusing on the basic connotation and value orientation of centralized Marxist theory education within the Party,as well as the good tradition of centralized Marxist theory education within the Party before the reform and opening up.Firstly,it analyses the important function of Marxist theory in explaining and regulating,inspiring and leading,ideals and transcendence,providing guidance for practice,indicating the direction for political parties and injecting faith into revolutions,and explains the essential characteristic of Marxist theory education in mastering the masses through theory.In this way,the concept of centralized Marxist theoretical education within the party is clarified,and its dialectical relationship with the concepts of centralized party education,ideological and political education and self-revolution,which are interrelated and distinct from each other,is identified,thus clarifying the core thesis of this study.Secondly,it summarizes that the centralized Marxist theory education within the Party is led by maintaining the Party’s advancement and purity,is centred on strengthening the ideological and theoretical armament of the Party as a whole,is aimed at consolidating the ideological basis for the unity and struggle of the Party and the people as a whole,and is aimed at solving the outstanding contradictions and problems within the Party.with the value orientation of solving the outstanding contradictions and problems within the Party as the focus.Thirdly,it takes the exploration and creation of the Marxist theoretical education model of concentrating on the outstanding contradictions within the Party as a characteristics of Marxist theory education in the Party since the reform and opening up.Looking back at history is conducive to better reflecting on the present and facing the future.Based on a broad the people”,between politeness and ideology,between theory and practice,between centralization and flexibility,and between “summarize experience” and “create the future”.Chapter 3: The basic experience of the Party in focusing on Marxist theory education since the reform and opening up.Focusing on five aspects: essential objectives,strategic directions,practical features,methods and means,and institutional safeguards,this chapter systematically summarizes the basic experience of centralized Marxist theory education within the Party.Specifically,the primary experience of theoretical education is to attach great importance to Marxist theory as the “mastery” of the Communist Party,to follow the consistent principle of “learning Marx and Lenin should be refined and mechanism of one education,focusing on the succession mechanism of multiple education,and realizing the parallel mechanism of centralized and regular education,together constructing an important initiative for the Party to consolidate the results of education and consolidate the effectiveness of education.Chapter 4: The current realities of concentrated Marxist theory education in the Party.The new era,the new situation,the new circumstances and the new problems are the basis for the Party’s new journey and the important premise for the Party’s centralized Marxist theory education to be more contemporary,relevant,realistic and scientific.Firstly,from the perspective of the “two major situations”,the “new road to examinations” and the transformation of the main social outstanding shortcomings in education practice are explored in terms of the height of cognition,degree of internalization,intensity of effectiveness and system,such as some Party members’ ambiguous cognition of theoretical education,individual Party members’ inability to truly understand and believe in Marxism,the need to further enhance the effectiveness and relevance of education,and the the new era.Chapter 5: Optimization of Marxist theory education in the Party in the new era.This chapter focuses on the path to enhance the effectiveness of centralized Marxist theory education in the Party under the historical conditions of the new era: firstly,by enhancing the cognitive self-reflection,value self-awareness and cultural self-confidence of a strong theoretical Party,so as to awaken Characteristics for the New Era and the scientific positions,views and methods contained therein to congealing the heart and casting the soul,and making efforts to strengthen theoretical innovation and interpretation,so as to draw the largest concentric circle of ideas,consolidate the value foundation of the Party’s strict governance across the board,nourish the righteousness of the Communists,and achieve the strategic goal of arming the strategic goal of arming the entire Party and educating the people.Fourthly,the Party should strive to promote the construction of a system that combines centralized and regular theoretical education within the Party,promote long-term construction,improve supervision and assessment,and sound institutional safeguards as important grasps,so as
