The digital media represented by the Internet has brought about changes in the mode of human communication,and has also profoundly influenced people’s cognitive practice.Digital media communication embodies the unity of human intelligence and artificial intelligence,and the intertextuality formed at the technical level is its intrinsic quality.Based on the current practice of digital communication,this study explores the intertextuality of the formation of digital media technology and its impact on people’s cognition.Based on the development of intertextuality theory,this paper puts forward the concept of "digital intertextuality",which is regarded as the result of the influence of digital technology on communication.Combining with the current context of post-truth,this paper explores the role of intertextuality of digital media in the post-truth social journey,and provides a new theoretical perspective for understanding the post-truth.As a cognitive model,intertextuality puts text on the text network to realize its meaning.Digital media establishes a new intertextuality beyond the human mind,which makes the network texts refer to each other and interact with each other.Digital media technologies such as hyperlinks,search engines,aggregation algorithms and machine writing have all the connotations of intertextuality and become the concrete form of digital intertextuality.Digital intertextuality makes people’s cognition subject to the double shadow of historical context and digital logic.Computer language is a kind of modelling language with dual structure: the literal meaning of text on the screen and the code inside the machine,which generates intertextuality and digital intertextuality respectively;as the extension of human memory,database greatly expands human memory,and its access authority shows the discourse characteristics;the size of database determines the internal content of digital communication.Containing source and intertextuality,metadata represents the nature and significance of data by tagging function,which provides relevant clues for digital intertextuality.Text links and links in digital media depend on algorithms,which provide relevant rules for digital intertextuality.Text distribution in digital media is closely related to personal communication preferences.Customized information push leads people’s cognition into "information cocoon room" and "echo room" effects.The spread of the "Peng Yufu old man" shows the influence of digital media on people’s cognition.All kinds of reports in digital media constitute three intertextual texts,which cause people’s cognitive bias on the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the event.Digital intertextuality can be used as a perspective to understand the "post-truth".The formation of post-truth is closely related to the intertextuality of digital media.The openness,fragmentation and decentralization of digital media fully reflect the characteristics of post-modernism,and their intertextuality also makes authority and truth dispelled.The intertextuality of digital media leads to mistrust of "meta-narrative" and uncertainty of cognition.The interpretation of truth and truth is entrusted to completely independent audiences.This kind of post-modern social condition is an important reason for the formation of "post-truth".
