With the continuous in-depth application of big data technology in various fields,the continuous innovation of AI technology,and the support of relevant policies of the national cultural industry,the media industry has made corresponding progress and development.Media groups have also undergone transformation and upgrading with the integration of media and all-media,as well as continuous innovation attempts with new technologies such as 5G.Therefore,comprehensive research on the competitiveness of listed media groups is with great meaning in the current media market.Based on the guidance of enterprise capability theory and economic management,with combined evaluation,cluster analysis,and European distance model as the integrated evaluation method,the three major capability dimensions of the integrated media group are used as the entry point.This paper has selected 100 Chinese listed media groups and 120 domestic and foreign media listed groups as research objects,including 19 indicators to conduct a comprehensive integrated analysis of those research objectives.The purpose of this paper is to find the comprehensive competitiveness development situation and category laws of China and foreign listed media groups,so as to analyze the current status and deficiencies of the domestic listed media group’s development comprehensively and objectively,and then provide some guidance and paths for the future direction of the domestic listed media group’s.Through comprehensive evaluation and analysis of the competitiveness of listed media groups and international comparisons,we can conclude the strategy of improving the competitiveness of the future media market.In the future,China’s listed media groups should reform the operating income model by optimizing the organizational structure,deepening the organizational capabilities of human resource management,increasing the financial capacity of R&D investment to enhance comprehensive competitiveness.Aiming at the four types of media groups,we put forward opinions on enhancing development capabilities and strategies such as cross-border cooperation,diversification strategy,product development strategy and other development strategies and cooperation models.In the future,the development of the media group can follow the comprehensive promotion strategy and the promotion strategy of its own category,and also can follow a comprehensive upgrade strategy,which will surely achieve more long-term development in the future,as well as gain an increasingly high market position in the international market.
