Start-ups are enterprises in the early stages of development,and have always been regarded as the "source of living water" for economic development.The growth of new ventures is not only conducive to their own sustainable development,but also makes an important contribution to the sustained growth of the economy and the creation of employment opportunities.However,due to the dilemma of resource constraints,it is difficult for new startups to continue to grow rapidly.Especially in the VUCA environment,how to overcome the dual constraints of "new weakness" and "small and weak",use its limited resources to deal with various threats,and promote enterprise growth are important issues that new startups need to solve..The ongoing new crown pneumonia epidemic poses a huge threat to the survival of new startups,and how to turn the crisis into safety is also a practical problem that is urgently resolved.Existing research has noticed that when faced with the threat of adversity events,some companies have stronger adaptability.The inherent characteristic of the organization that leads to this result is called organizational resilience.Resilience derives from adversity.Organizational resilience helps companies identify and respond to opportunities and challenges brought about by environmental uncertainty,turn dangers into safety,take advantage of opportunities,and promote sustainable development of the company.With the increase in external threats that companies have encountered in recent years,how to make companies more resilient has become an important topic in management practice.Therefore,the concept of resilience has given new vitality in theory.The existing literature has studied the conceptual connotation,development context,and influencing factors of organizational resilience.But how does organizational resilience affect the growth of startups?What is its mechanism of action?Existing research has failed to answer such questions.The complex adaptive learning system in the organization is mainly composed of two subsystems:one is the performance system,which aims to complete existing goals and tasks in time for survival and development;the other is the adaptive system,which is a long-term process.The purpose is to meet and complete future goals.These two sub-learning systems are in good agreement with the survivability and growth of organizational resilience.Therefore,entrepreneurial learning provides an analytical perspective for revealing the mechanism of organizational resilience on the growth of startups.At the same time,resilience research is inseparable from specific situations. Under the new crown pneumonia epidemic, more and more entrepreneurs use the Internet to carry out entrepreneurial activities,use the Internet as a business channel to obtain resources,information,and opportunities from it,or transfer part of their business activities from offline to online,and become new startups to start their own businesses.Convenient and effective way of activities.Moreover,existing studies have paid insufficient attention to the systemic capabilities based on the organizational level and the current situational factors that are embedded in the Internet that have a significant impact on the acquisition of corporate information resources.Therefore,it is necessary to embed the issues of organizational resilience and the growth of new ventures into the specific context of the Internet for research.Based on this,this article will use case and empirical research methods,embedded in the Internet background,to analyze the impact of organizational resilience on the growth of startups,and use entrepreneurial learning as an intermediary variable to reveal the mechanism of action to make up for the lack of existing research,and Provide necessary theoretical support for new ventures to respond to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.The research is divided into seven parts overall.The first part is the introduction,introducing the background of the topic,based on the analysis of the background,the core issues of the research are put forward,and then the research methods and main content adopted in the thesis and the innovation points of the thesis are proposed.The second part is a literature review,reviewing and commenting on organizational resilience,entrepreneurial learning,growth of new ventures,Internet embedding and their relationships,and proposes the limitations of existing research and the directions for future research.The third part is an exploratory case study,selecting four Chinese companies to deeply explore the organizational resilience embedded in the Internet,the impact of the learning of new startups on the growth of startups and the internal mechanism.The fourth part puts forward the theoretical hypothesis of the four dimensions of organizational resilience and the growth of startups on the basis of the analysis of the relationship between the variables in the third part,and constructs the mechanism model of organizational resilience on the growth of startups.The fifth part is the research methodology of the mechanism of organizational resilience on the growth of startups,mainly designing questionnaires and clarifying analysis methods.The sixth part is an empirical study of the impact mechanism of organizational resilience on the growth of startups,empirically testing the variable relationship between organizational resilience,entrepreneurial learning and startup growth,and the moderating effect of Internet embedding.The first part is:conclusions and prospects.It summarizes the basic conclusions,enlightenments and limitations of this research.Through research,it is found that(1)Organizational resilience promotes the growth of startups and is an important driving force for startups to turn crisis into safety.New startups not only need to have the flexibility to quickly return to normal conditions from difficulties,but also need to have the dynamics of continuous change.Ability;(2)The Internet’s embedding in the organization’s resilience and the growth of startups has a direct positive regulatory role.As an important scenario facing companies today,it not only provides basic support for startups to obtain more information,resources and knowledge,but also It puts forward higher requirements for new ventures to continuously improve their resilience;(3)Entrepreneurship learning is the key path for new ventures to continue to grow under the current situation.Utilization and exploratory learning is important for all dimensions of organizational resilience and new ventures.The growing relationship has played a part of the intermediary role.This research clarifies the relationship between organizational resilience and the growth of new ventures;from the perspective of entrepreneurial learning,it reveals the mechanism of the relationship between organizational resilience and the growth of new ventures;clarifies the context in which the Internet is embedded in the relationship between organizational resilience and the growth of new ventures effect. |
