In recent 10 years, with the development of the thinking of ecological garden, scenery creation with plants is more and more becoming the priority of the landscape construction, and the ecological effect of plant is focused on,the study on the significance of the ecological, aesthetic and applied value of plant community is in-depth.As a unique ornamental tree in South China, Mangrove plant is one of the rare characteristic species in Chinese landscape, the research to whose natural forest community scenery is of special significance. The content of this research can be divided into three parts. In the first part, the study of plant flora is carried out;In the second part, with the investigation method of sample plot in ecology area, the community structure and species diversity of Mangrove plants are analyzed in order to provide an ecology premise of plant in urban landscape; In the third part, with the useful information gathered from the results of the first two research, some appropriate Mangrove plant communities that apply to urban garden landscape are selected. The main research results are as follows:(1) the plant species of Shankou Nature Reserve are rich:There were 382 seed plant species which belong to 386 genera and 117 families in the Shankou Nature Reserve; Tropical familiy accounted for 55.66%, Tropical genera accounted for 85.03% of total genera, and Pantropic genera represented 35.63% in genera level, which revealed that the flora was temperate in nature; The geographical elements of the flora are complexity. The flora communication with other flora is comprehensive. The geographical elements of the flora are complexity. The flora communication with other flora is comprehensive.(2) The study of plant community landscapes shows:There are 5 patterns of communities in Shankou Nature Reserve:Form.Bruguiera gymnorrhiza; Form. Bruguiera gymnorrhiza+ Rhizophora stylosa; Form. Rhizophora stylos; Form. Kandelia candel; Form. Avicennia marina. The leaf characteristics showed that plant with microphyllsand mesophylls, simple, unentire, herbaceous and leathery leaves played an important role. The structure of the mangrove communities was rather simple, one layer or two layers. The construetive species and dominant species of the mangrove communities were evident.Compared with those of terrestrial plant communities, the species diversity indices of the mangrove communities were much low.(3) Mangrove roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits in the shape, color, aroma, texture and other characteristics and the overall composition of the exploration and analysis, many mangrove plants are found in a higher value, which some semi-mangrove plants, mangrove plants in the inter-tidal and land a good growth environment, but also through the cultivation of domesticated cultivation, able to adapt to tropical and subtropical regions of many terrestrial environment, landscape applications have greater potential future.According to individual and community's, there are three suitable semi-mangove plant, which has both ornamental value and good ecological adaptability. Hibiscus is one of the most widely used semi-mangrove plants, its application forms including street trees, shade trees and seaview tree. Three points of enlightenment from mangove plant community scenery about the application of plants in city greening are proposed, they are:To develop approaching-nature community scenery; To strengthen the application of local materials; To create a type of coastal landscape characteristics required to strengthen the application of semi-mangrove plants.
