Dongyaozhuang gold deposit is one of typical greenstone belt gold deposit in China. It occurs in Wutaishan greenstone belt middle and lower parts of Hongmenyan formation of Wutai group, Archean. Therefore it is also a typical of shear zone-type gold deposit. Gold mineralizations are strictly controlled by Taihuai-Lijiazhuang homoclinal reversing compound syncline and Lijiazhuang-Dacaoping ductile shear zone and metadiabase dyke. The orebodies themselves are mostly stratiform-stratoid in shape. The host rocks are Sericite albite schists, chlorite schists and metadiabase dyke and have experienced intensive Pyritization, silicification and carbonatization.Greenstone belt gold deposit is a impotent type of gold deposit at home and abroad. Electrical prospecting is an effective way of greenstone belt gold deposit exploration. Gold mineralization is relative to pyritization in Dongyaozhuang gold deposit. Main gold-containing mineral are disseminated and veinlet-disseminated pyrite. According to the notable electric difference between auriferous pyritization belt and wall rock, the induced polarization method is accepted. The induced polarization method is played an important role in circling exploration target and finding ore-body.At the base of comparative analysis of typical greenstone belt gold deposit's geologic features and geochemical ore-prospecting models at home and abroad, we summarized the features of ore-bearing layer, structure, metadiabase, ore-body, geophysical and ore-finding indexes and established Geological-geophysical ore-prospecting model of Dongyaozhuang gold deposit.According to Dongyaozhuang gold deposit's Geological-geophysical ore-prospecting model, carried out the induced polarization intermediate gradient scan in the range of 2km2 across mining area of Dongyaozhuang gold deposit, and scale is 1:10000, network is 20m×100m. For 4 anomalies were circled.Ⅰanomaly andⅡanomaly were marked by features of ore-generating anomaly and the anomalous features are obvious, outlines are regular, distribution ranges are large, and centers are clear. The anomalies are relative to surface auriferous pyritization belt and reflecte features of gold ore-formation or ore body. According to induced polarization symmetric four pole sounding and data 2D inversion, we found 3 high polarizability anomalous bodies and distributing as moniliform. We predicated 6 surface mineralization bodies and 3 deep mineralization bodies. The surface mineralization bodies are 50 to 100m long,20 to 50m wide and 25 to 100m deep. The deep mineralization bodies are 12 to 70m lone and 10 to 30m wide, and have a depth in excess of 100m. Forecasting reserve may reach a medium-sized deposit scale. The proposals were brought forward to test drill-holes.
