The paper presents a new design scheme of logging system. The system consistsof two independent layer structures, including the data acquisition layer and the datatransmission layer connected by CAN bus for communication, which facilitates thescalability of the data acquisition layer. The probe of neutron, density and sound wavewill be implemented during one well logging exploration. TCP/IP protocol is appliedbetween the data transmission layer and surface system. The long-haul high-speedfiber-optic communications will guarantee the reliability of the design.In the paper, we discuss the prospect of logging application and the theory ofnatural gamma spectrum exploration first, the architecture of this logging system isintroduced then, we illustrate the design and implement of natural gamma spectrumsample system in detail, and introduce the protocol of CAN bus communication withit's implement in this system, at last, we analyse the problem appeared in the systemdebug, and give out the resolvent after the test of system function.The author's work emphases on hardware design, thus, a lot of chip workingfeatures and how to apply to this system are discussed focus on the realization ofsystem function.The test results as well as the data analysis show that the system has theadvantages of stability, reality and flexible expansibility.
