Rock slope under earthquake and landslides dynamic response mechanism of strong earthquakes in western China has been the need to address the difficulty and hot spots. In this paper, on the base of a detailed field geological survey and data analysis, it described the geological landslide Wenjiagou environmental conditions, a more detailed description of the basic characteristics of the source region slip, and based on discrete element software 3DEC, on Wenjiagou Landslides in the earthquake produced landslides under strong motion the process of numerical simulation.First of all, this article elaborates the basic principles of three-dimensional discrete element method. Then with only a single structure for the surface (level) of layered rock slope, implement a lot of numerical simulation based on three dimensional discrete element software 3DEC, discussing the main input of the dynamic load effects on the numerical simulation results, seismic wave parameters (frequency, amplitude, duration) effects on the dynamic response of rock slope and slope parameter (slope height, slope angle, rock angle) effects on the permanent power displacement of the slope.Furthermore, digitized the seismic waves measured near Wenjiagou and used the software SeismoSignal with its filtering and baseline correction processing. Based on strength reduction, calculated the slope safety factor under natural state and seismic with the use of software 3DEC.Finally, by software 3DEC, implemented the three dimensional discrete element numerical simulation of the whole process of earthquake triggering landslide Wenjiagou, combining with engineering geological conditions of Wenjiagou, madding a detailed analysis of formation mechanism and the Slump.
