At present, human and economic develop rapidly, the sence of people to protect water resources is poor and exploitation and utilization to water resources is unreasonable,which lead to contradiction increasingly prominent between demand and supply of freshwater resources.In recent years,China and other countries in the coastal areas, seawater intrusion becomes increasingly serious because of over-exploitation of groundwater,resulting in fresh water resources have been severely damaged,human health and economic development are also threatened. In order to control the further deterioration of this situation, many effective prevention measures have been explored based on the control the exploitation of ground water,which have acquired more significant treatment effect.In this paper,pointing at pecific instances of Laizhou Wanghe underground reservoir to control seawater intrusion,we used the finite element groundwater FeFlow numerical model software to study numerical simulation of seawater intrusion towards some area of Sanshandao town in Laizhou city whether the Wanghe underground reservoir in existence or not.Especially by numerical Simulation of seawater intrusion in recent years without Laizhou Wanghe underground reservoir,obtained in this case groundwater level and water quality of typical observation wells.And by comparing the analysis to Measured values with underground reservoir in existence demonstrated the effect of controling sea water intrusion of Wanghe underground reservoir,but also provided a scientific basis for using such methods to control seawater intrusion.The research work mainly includes the following four areas:(1) the paper describes the concept of sea water intrusion and damage,summarizes the current seawater intrusion prevention and research status at home and abroad.Against status of seawater intrusion for the study area and the specific control measures,this paper put forward the technical line. (2) the paper introduced hydrogeological overview of research area and recharge conditions and throttle position of Wanghe underground reservoir,and further analysed underground water storage reservoir conditions.On these basis,determined boundary conditions,source and sink terms, some simulation parameters and conditions associated with generalized which are needed in underground reservoir Mathematical models so as to establish a hydrogeological conceptual model and to provide the basis for the subsequent mathematical model establishment of the project.(3) we did dynamic monitoring of sea water intrusion towards to the study area, including the groundwater level monitoring,water quality monitoring and the geophysical monitoring of the typical profile.By dynamic monitoring data, acquired the Seawater intrusion situation after the building of underground reservoir,and analyzed the trend of seawater intrusion,Preliminarily Verified underground reservoir effect on the prevention of seawater intrusion,and according to the dynamic monitoring of values,calibrated and validated numerical model for seawater intrusion whether the Wanghe underground reservoir in existence or not.(4) In line with numerical simulation of the seawater invasion without Wanghe underground reservoir,has acquired the groundwater level and water quality no such projects in recent years.And by comparing these simulation results with the dynamic monitoring date, further analysed and highlighted the control effect of seawater intrusion of wanghe Underground reservoir.
