| Water is an irreplaceable strategic natural resource, which is not only the source of all living being to survive and multiply, but also closely linked with the progress of human civilization. In modern society, water resources play a pivotal role in the national economy, and have turned to the main factor in the promotion of economic growth or constraints. With the growth of population and the development of industrialization and the society, water plays a more and more important role. In recent years, river pollution emergencies occurred frequently in our country, which caused great damage and loss. However, the simulation and prediction of the quality of the polluted water is the critical link in the prevention and urgent handling of emergencies. The simulation and prediction analysis of water quality in water pollution emergencies can provide decision support for emergency treatment and emergency rescue and the like. The decision makers can evaluate the emergency based on the information from the simulation of polluted water, make good emergency treatment, then prevent or alleviate the damage of the emergency. Meanwhile, the three-dimensional visualization of GIS has the incomparable advantage of traditional GIS. On that account, we established a visualization system to simulate and predict the quality of the polluted water in river pollution emergencies based on three-dimensional GIS, and take a certain period of Weihe River as an example, to simulate and predict the quality of the polluted water in river pollution emergencies and visualize it. The paper includes the following aspects:On the bases of previous research, the paper studies theoretical knowledge related to water pollution which includes the theory of river pollution emergency and its control measures, the spread and migration of pollutants in the water, and modeling process and solution of water quality simulation model. And deeply studies the theory, method and secondary development of three-dimensional GIS.Based on theoretical research, and combined with the demand analysis to the simulation and prediction of water quality in river emergencies and the characteristics of three-dimensional Geographic Information System, and according to the development and design principle of GIS, made design from the aspects of system design objectives, framework, structure, function and polluted water quality simulation model; we achieve the designed a visualization system to simulate the quality of the polluted water in river pollution emergencies.Apply Component technology and plug-in technology, combined with the characteristics of the system design, manage the data using database, develop three-dimensional visualization system in.NET platform using Arc Engine9.3, compute the water quality model using Matlab and visualize it integrated with three-dimensional GIS, finally achieve the development of three-dimensional visualization system on simulation of water quality in Weihe river emergencies.In the developed three-dimensional visualization system on simulation of water quality in Weihe river emergencies, taking a certain period of Weihe River as study area, achieves the following functions:the storage, edit and analyst function of spatial and attribute data of water polluted emergency; the function of scene modeling on three-dimensional visualization of polluted water simulation result and its three-dimensional scene operation; the analog computation to polluted water quality, three-dimensional visualization of qualitative and quantitative modeling result, and its query and analysis. |
