The theoretical study and engineering practice proved that simulation models can only solve the problem of prediction, and simulation and optimization to solve the repair process to decision problem. But the optimization model must be based on the simulation model, to ensure the optimization process of optimization model is to follow the groundwater actual system principle and laws inherent. Hence the need for a way and means, the simulation model being embedded into the optimization model, making it an integral part of the optimization model, simulation model and optimization model to achieve the connection. But the methods used like embedded method, response matrix method, the state transfer equation method have its own applicable scope, use rise often limited. Therefore, establishing the surrogate model of the groundwater numerical simulation model, it approximation to the simulation model on the function, to the iteration process of optimization model can directly call the surrogate model (i.e. on surrogate solve the model), thus not only greatly reduced optimization model calculation process caused by direct call simulation model of the computational load, and can effectively reduce iteration times, save a lot of time. Therefore, the research and applied of surrogate model methods should be pay for more and more attention.Based on the area of Baicheng city, it introduced the research trends of groundwater numerical simulation and the domestic and foreign research progress on the response surface model and double. Combining the hydrogeological conditions, to determine the composition of the area aquifer system, expounds the groundwater recharge, runoff and discharge rule and dynamic characteristics of groundwater, establishes the hydrogeological conceptual model in the study area. Establishing mathematical model of groundwater based on the hydrogeological conceptual model, choose the more popular at home and abroad that Visual Modflow software to solve the model. And using the existing data to identification and inspection numerical simulation model of groundwater. The result of the test indicates that the established mathematical model and boundary condition and the setting hydrogeology parameters and source and sink items are correct and reliable. Application Latin super cubic sampling method to smoke sampling in three mouth water pumping Wells, certain out 20 different pumping test plan. Operation the model calculation to get six mouth observation Wells'deep water levels on the existing data sets, on the basis of data set for the input (pumping water) output (water drawdown), using the regression analysis method to establish the double response surface model, the surrogate model of groundwater numerical simulation. The verification, the double response surface model can effectively substitute the groundwater numerical simulation model.
