The Existence And Multiplicity Solutions Of A Class Of Fourth-Order Equation Via Variational Methods

In this thesis, we discuss the existence and multiplicity of a class of fourth-order equation. We establish the existence and multiplicity results with the aid of variational methods.In Chapter 1, we introduce the background of the paper and also the problems we will study, mainly about the evolution, development and the background of variational methods.In Chapter 2, some essential definitions and preliminary theorems are introduced.In Chapter 3, we study the existence and multiplicity of a class of fourth-order equa-tion. By employing critical point theory, we obtain the existence and multiplicity of some kind of fourth-order equations.
