Energy problem and environmental problem is one of the most important attentions in the world. It is publicly known that energy-saving and emission-reduction is the effective way to improve the environment and optimize the energy resource structure. Sea is a huge resource of renewable energy. The energy from solar radiation include two kinds of storage modes in seawater which are kinetic energy of ocean current and heat energy stored in the seawater. Dalian has a long coast which is full of seawater resource. The seawater source heat pump utilize heat transfer between sea water as cold source and heat source to support heat input and refrigeration is a renewable resource utilization technology which is widely accepted in the world.Dalian Maritime University Natatorium is a big natatorium, there is a huge cost of energy to keep the stable water temperature, room temperature and humidity level every year. The heat input system of boiler with a low efficiency to lead to high operation cost. According to analysis of heat input system operating status, the problem is found out, then make use of the seawater source heat pump to provide heat, optimize the water intake technology, aseptic technique and design of outlet device. To anaylize the operating energy consumption of seawater resource heat pump system and compare the performance between the seawater resource heat pump system and boiler system. To summarize the influence factors of energy consumption in seawater resource heat pump system. And finally to provide the basis of usage of seawater resource heat pump system in Dalian Maritime University Natatorium.
