| With the Location-Based Service(LBS) widely used in the national economy, how to effectively manage the mass location information of moving objects become the primary problem in LBS. The effective spatio-temporal index is the key to improve the efficiency of inquiry. Therefore, the spatio-temporal index technology is an important part of the study in spatio-temporal database.The current spatio-temporal index use spatial index for reference ,the traditional spatial index is used to index the static objects, without considering the problem of frequent data updating, therefore, To find a suitable strategy of spatio-temporal index for the LBS system to achieve the purpose of improving the query efficiency become an urgent need to address the problem. This paper focuses on the composition and framework of LBS system, administer the spatio-temporal data, the representation model of trajectory data, update strategy, spatio-temporal index were studied, mainly the following:Describes the composition and framework of LBS system, described the spatial and temporal characteristics of the trajectory data, based on in-depth analyzing and summing up the existing spatio-temporal model ,the spatio-tmeporal model of trajectory data, the two kinds of trajectory data model update policy is present, and gives the update algorithm.In-depth analysis principles and methods of the existing spatio-temporal indexing technology, and carried out comparison and classification. Use the indexing tools GIST and SP-GiST build XBR-tree index, compared with other typical spatio-temporal indexing techniques through experiments, the spatio-temporal index based on XBR tree on the trajectory data is more efficientOn the basis of spatio-temporal database, designed a LBS system, to achieve some functions, such as trajectory playback, information inquiry, mileage statistics, electronic fences and so on, verify the design present in this paper is feasible, correct and rationally. |
