Baiyangdian wetland, which is a significant water hub of Daqing River, has a negligible effect in maintaining the ecological balance of Hebei Plain. Therefore, water resources within Baiyangdian Basin directly impact sustainable development of economic, social and ecological. But in recent years, under the double impact of global change and human activities, the agreement of the basin hydrology and land surface conditions had been undermined, with hydrological characteristics changed significantly. Reducing the surface water resources and continually decreasing surface water level of Baiyangdian, water level changes frequently. A large number of groundwater are exploited because surface water resources can not meet the water consumption growth. Meanwhile, groundwater is regarded as a major source of industry in the case of no surface water resources. Great changes of Baiyangdian water storage capacity have been produced for the above reasons. So it is a great significance to clear the hydraulic connection between surface water and groundwater and plan the overall water resources of Baiyangdian wetland.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Groundwater system is established. Regression analysis is carried out using the data analysis of EXCEL software, which regards the surface water level of Baiyangdian and the groundwater depth of surrounding areas as the basic data. Correlations are got after the F and t tests. Within the confine of the correlations,groundwater system is divided into two parts: core-affected zone and high-impact areas. (2) Permeability coefficients and specific yields are inverted. Optimization program, combined with GA and two-dimensional flow equation of groundwater is established aiming at the core-affected zone and high-impact areas based on matlab program. The minimum difference of the calculated and measured level is regarded as the objective function value based on the given range of permeability coefficients and specific yields. (3) The model is established which Baiyangdian constant head recharge groundwater periodic. The recharge and discharge relationship are definite analyzing the high level,middle level and low level. The relationship among water level variation and unit discharge variation,flow path,recharge period are analyzed. Groundwater storage of the different level is calculated according to the model in order to analyze the amount relation between the surface water and groundwater in the way of quantify. (4) Groundwater storages of different zones are got. Variations of the groundwater storages are studied from the horizontal and vertical as the basis of the model what has mentioned above. The relationship is studied with the quantitative methods between the surface water and groundwater.
