The numerical calculation of the JWS EOS parameters of detonation products is carried in this investigation. Mathematical model for the cylinder test system is established and numerically calculated by using the Program LS-DYNA. The tw-dimensional deforming process of the cylinder shell in detonation process is calculated. Comparing with the experimental data, a numerical method is established for calculating the JWL EOS parameters of detonation products. When the standard cylinder test of the explosive sample is performed, this method can be used to determine the JWL EOS parameters of detonation products.The situation and development of the EOS of detonation products is briefly given in this paper. The theoretical foundation of the EOS and the explosive detonation theory/model are discussed. The correlation and practical meanings of the JWL EOS parameters are analyzed theoretically. Correlation regulation and constrained conditions of these parameters are given. The choosing criteria of parameters optimization are determined. The optimized parameters calculation program is written. When the LS-DYNA program is loaded, the fitting data curve and the experimental data curve are compared; then, the data are automatically analyzed and the optimized parameters are chosen; at last, the JWL EOS parameters are obtained by cycle's calculation.
