With the city's expansion, the land of city's edge is changed from agriculture land or owned land constantly to construction land. Take the 2000,2003 and 2007 time phase Landsat TM/ETM+ RS data as RS data and acquire RS information by technical dispose to obtain the urban expansion trends. Use the analysis of related driving power to explore the changing law as the reference of relevant adhibition and decision.This paper include RS image dispose ,RS information extract etc.By means of study, this paper get conclusions as follows:Researched urban constructed area expand from 30 sq.km of 2000 to 133.58 sq.km of 2007. City's build area spread almost 103.58 sq.km, it's about 3.45 times compared to its original area. In other words, urban constructed area expand 14.8sq.km yearly with high momentum. The city appears high speed expansion situation. Accompanied by the progress of urban construction, city's centre shift from 119°6'57.371"E 36°42'39.536"N of 2000 to 119°7'.880"E 36°42'30.081"N of 2003,and finally shift to 119°7'40.719"E 36°42'10.44"N at 2007. The shift trend is from south by east to southeast first, then shift from northwest to southeast.The centre removed about 1.4km from 2000 to 2007.on the basis of mass statistical data and analytic operator, researched zone urban area has changed a lot form 2000 to 2007. At the expand process, economic factor and population factor play an important part. Other drive factors play their individual part as well. From 2000 to 2007, the researched zone has a high economic increase,overall economy develop swift and violent,the economic aggregate almost tripled. Except that primary industry develops gently, second and third industry who need more urban land develop a high speed, this promote the expansion of urban zone. Furthermore, though population haven't a rapid growth, but the population structure has changed. In the past , the population proportion urban versus rural is 1:3.3 in 2000 and 1:1.3 in 2007. This imply a lot of rural population shift to city, it's a factor boost the city's expansion.In addition, this area has a advantageous geographic location,physical distribution is convenient. There are perfect industrial system,high-quality population. These provide favourable foundation to develop the second and third industry.
