Quark and gluon distributions in nuclei have been one of the most active frontiers in nuclear physics and particle physics. These accurately determined parton distribution functions are valuable in interpreting the experimental results in the nucleus-nucleus and proton-nucleus interactions at high energies. By neutrino deep inelastic scattering, interactions between quarks and gluons that make up the target particles can be studied and parton distribution functions in target particles can be obtained. These investigations and achievements are crucial for calculating cross sections precisely and finding new physics. To investigate nuclear effects on charm production in neutrino-iron deep inelastic scattering, this paper using CTEQ parton distribution functions of protons and EPS08 parton distribution functions of the bound nucleon calculated differential cross sections for this process. And compared with the experimental data, by comparing the operation result of EPS08 parton distribution functions of the bound nucleon to the operation result of CTEQ parton distribution functions of protons, it can be seen that, there is nuclear shadowing effect in the region of Bjorken variable x less than 0.1, but in the region of Bjorken variable x greater than 0.1, there is anti-shadowing effect. However, in a word, the effection, which is the nuclear effect of parton distribution function reacting on differential cross section in neutrino-iron deep inelastic scattering, is little.
