The North East Betara gas field in Indonesia is one part of the Indonesia Project of CNODC. The North East Betara gas field in Jabung block of the South Sumatra Basin is a main assets and production field, and this study has an important affect in oil and gas production. The reservoir needs restudy due to the new problem and the new cognition arise from the development and productive process. In this project, the study is based on the core, logging and master-log data. We have determined the key bed characteristic. Combined with comparative analysis of sedimentary cycle, lithological association and log data, the LTAF formation of the NEB field has being divided into 13 small layers. The NEB field has developed subsea apron and braid delta.Log interpretation is based on relationship study between lithologic character, physical property, hydrocarbon character and log character. We have built the log interpretation model and confirmed the fluid identification criterion, and completed logging data interpretation based on geological information restraint. Synthesize the well testing and log interpretation result, has confirmed the fluid distribution system characteristic and divided 37 water/oil/gas systems in LTAF formation. The NEB gas field is a structural- lithologic layered condensate gas reservoir with thin oil belt, edge and bottom water. The three-dimensional geological model of the LTAF formation in NEB gas field is based on stratigraphic classification results, seismologic interpretation results and log interpretation results. In this subject we have completed the three-dimensional structural model, precipitation facie model and attributive character model, and calculated the oil and gas initially in place.
