The study of land-use landscape change in reclaimed coastal soils area is the important problem of water-salt environmental management, and has very important theory and practice significance for mode optimization of land use and highly effective and sustainable use of agricultural land resources.Based on landscape ecology theory, RS, GIS and landscape analysis software applied, reclaimed coastal soils in Zhejiang province as the study area (located in Shangyu city and south of Hangzhou gulf), this thesis focused on interpreting the remote sensing images data for three periods of 1991,2001 and 2010, systematically and completely analyzing the land use changes, landscape characteristics and evolution during the 20 years from 1991 to 2010, and discussing the driving mechanism in society, nature, economy and policy.The study results were as follows:1. It can effectively improve land-use classification precision to adopt the meth-od of combining of unsupervised classification and decision tree classification based on the spectra characteristics of land-use types in study area.2. Classification results indicated that residential area,road or reclaimed dyke,paddy field,dry field,vegetable field,orchard field,tree field,rive,channel or pool,marine field,costal soil and unused land else were the land-use types in study area, and paddy field,dry field and marine field were the main land-use types.3. The new added reclaimed coastal area was diverted mainly to paddy field and marine field Coastal soils, orchard field and unused land were diverted mainly to paddy field,dry field and marine field. River was mainly diverted to paddy field. There were main diversion relations in area among paddy field,dry field and marine field,and the three types became the main land-use types in study area with the other types' area switching to.4. During the twenty years, except road and orchard field, plaque quantity of the other land-use types increased. But the plaque quantity of coastal soils decreased and is diverted to other land-use types now. Paddy fields dry field and marine land's fragmentation degree was intensified, the plaque shape was apt to irregularity, self-similarity was weak, and the plaque was small and scattered.5. The driving powers study results indicated that the change of soil salt quanti-ty, the Population growth, the economy development and the policy-oriented were the main driving powers of land-use landscape change in study area.
