The electric field calibration is an indispensable component in the whole process of Atmospheric Electric Field Mill (AEFM) development. There has been a whole electric field calibration system abroad, but there is no national electric field calibration standard and this work rarely involves in china. To satisfy AEFM's calibration, we need work in 0-100kv environment. It is not only need to ensure the safety of workers, but also need to consider the effects made by human. So, it is necessary to develop a PC control system to complete the calibration work, to avoid the contact between personnel and high voltage, and to reduce external factors' influence on the distribution of the electric field.In order to reduce the workload of electric field calibration process, improving the work efficiency, based on various visualization development tools, this system choose Delphi 7.0 as the software, choose Windows XP as the operation platform, modular design idea as the main line and choose Access 2003 as the database. In the utilization of each visual component and Pascal language, this paper programmed system control interface software. Design the calibration system login screen, main interface, calibration data display interface, calibration voltage control interface, calibrated data query, maintenance interface and data report export interface. Using Delphi's Visual Component. Library to achieve the cluster communication between upper and lower level computer, calibration electric field calibration data displaying and inquiry, maintenance and processing, and reached the purpose of gathering data and control electric instrument calibration voltage, real time observing electric field numerical change and enquiring and anglicizing the calibration data.Finally, through analyzing data in excel drew the linear relation between measured value and theoretical value to proved the correctness of AEFM and calibration system, expounded the factors causing errors,accumulated some experience for further study.
